Daniel Negreanu and Shaun Deeb’s long-running feud seems to be heading for a bizarre $500k marriage last longer bet, with the Canadian PokerStars ambassador throwing in a ‘death clause’ for his unhealthy rival…

The Negreanu/Deeb mutual dislike reignited this week with KidPoker telling the reigning WSOP Player of the Year: “I don’t trust you. You are by far the biggest angle shooter on the circuit today”.

The verbal battle came about after self-declared ‘Markup police’ Deeb decided he wasn’t happy about the WSOP package Allen ‘Chainsaw’ Kessler was offering, and this on the back of another attack on YouTube poker streamer JohnnieVibes’ summer offers.
What could, or ought to have been a sensible discussion of mark-up prices, however, soon descended into a personal war of words between the two poker legends.
Other big names in the poker world added their twocents-worth from time to time, Vanessa Selbst, Matt Glantz and Sean McCormack among them…
@dalaei is obviously right. What’s the point of this other than pure meanness? It’s one thing to call out absolute intentional ripoffs (cough Hellmuth cough) but what’s your plan? Shame every single mediocre player with a slightly losing package? To what end?

As with all prop bets, the fine print is where the devil resides and the pair quickly started hammering out the details of what would likely be the most incredible poker player prop bet of all time…

Deeb, for once, has been less aggressive in the personal insults stakes, preferring instead to focus on how the bizarre bet might work…
Very simple length of marriage theres a date you got married and a date you get divorced subtract from that. if you two some how don’t get married I win as well and if one of us dies while still married that distance must be met by other couple to chop the bet

Hopefully one or other of Negreanu and Deeb’s better halves – Amanda and Ashley – will step in and put an end to this rather gross playground hair-pulling. With neither player particularly open to outside influence, however, that day could be a ways off yet.
