2023 WSOP Update – Phil Ivey In the Top 5 At The $50,000 Poker Players Championship

The $50,000 Poker Players Championship is the most prestigious tournament of the World Series of Poker and the G.O.A.T. Phil Ivey was chip leader for a long time before finishing in the Top 5 with only 12 players left. 2009 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada made the final table in the Monster Stack.

Phil Ivey, the G.O.A.T. in Poker, has definitely arrived at the 2023 WSOP. Ivey is chip leader in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, the most prestigious event at the World Series of Poker.

Former WSOP Main Event Winner Joe Cada makes Monster Stack Final Table

There is another big name, who is making the headlights and it is 2009 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Cada by making the final table in the Monster Stack.

Cada has some work to do though as he is entering today’s final table as the short stack.

Chip leader is US poker pro Nicholas Gerrity with 112,300,000 chips, followed by fellow countryman Jesse Rockowitz.

The seven remaining players have already secured at least $186,149, but they are all gunning for the bracelet and the staggering $1,162,681 up top.
