The Microgaming Poker Network has just announced that it will be closing next year. There have been rumors that MPN would be shutting down and these rumors have been confirmed by official representatives today.

Earlier today the MPN confirmed that MPN would shut its poker operations in the upcoming 6-8 months.
Alex Scott, Managing Director of MPN, posted in a 2+2 thread and stated that he would have a statement in the next couple of hours. John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming that there won’t be a network model shortly.
Even though the network will be closing, this is not the end of poker at Microgaming. It seems like the company is taking a different approach instead.
Important Information for MPN Players
Despite this lousy news, gameplay at MPN and business will continue as usual until closure. Therefore you will still be able to play at the tables until the network shuts its doors in approx. 6-9 months.
