Doug Polk has lost a monster $707,800 pot the biggest pot in Lodge poker history! Polk and Bill Perkins lost more than $1,000,000 combined in unprecedented nosebleeds action at The Lodge.

The hand in question took place against Lodge regular Alex who had a dominating session that saw him leave with a cool $590,100 profit.
A player named Taras raises to $2,000 from early position with A6s and Doug Polk three-bets his A4s to $7,000, seated immediately to his left.
Alex now wakes up with pocket jacks in the cutoff, and cold four-bets to $20,000. Taras folds. Polk, having showed great strength by three-betting an EP open, still doesn’t seem put off by facing a cold four-bet and five-bets to $60,000.
Alex now senses some danger, but not enough to pitch his hand, just yet, and makes the call.
The flop comes down 3c 2c 9d. Polk makes a continuation bet of $28,000 with his gutshot and overcard and Alex calls.
The turn is the Jh, giving Alex top set. Polk now fires out $78,000 and Alex makes an easy call. No need to frighten Polk off a potential bluff at this point.
When the 8h river lands, Polk jams in his remaining $186,000 and Alex wastes no time in making the call for the most memorable pot on The Lodge live-stream.
Doug Polk and Bill Perkins Lose More than $1,000,000 Combined
It wasn’t a horrific night for only Doug Polk who lost $288,900. Bill Perkins had a shocker and dusted off $741,100.
Perkins arrived two hours into the session and even had a nice $180,000 win against Charles Yu, but he still managed a series of big losses throughout the night.

And it also wasn’t a particularly great night for Nik Airball. The Hustler Casino Live reg ended his night down $71,600, although most of that was down to trying to bluff 73o into the pocket aces of Taras.
