A man has been arrested for destruction of property in Las Vegas, an incident that led to the WSOP shooting mass panic over a suspected active shooter on the iconic Strip. Bradley Thompson allegedly threw a rock at the valet windows at MGM Grand, smashing at least one of them.

The sound of the glass breaking was similar enough to the crack of a gun being fired to send nearby casino patrons into a panic, but nobody expected the situation to have escalated as it did.
The frenzy cascaded down the Strip past more than 10 properties until it eventually reached Paris Casino where a WSOP event was still underway.
Daniel Negreanu and Vanessa Kade both found themselves on the floor at risk of serious injury. The former was lucky to only get away with a badly cut-up hand.

Returned to the Scene of the Crime
It turns out that Bradley Thompson had been thrown out of the MGM Grand earlier that evening but returned to the property to confront security.
He felt he had been disrespected by the security team and began throwing rocks at the valet windows before being detained by a bystander. This was later confirmed by surveillance camera footage.
Thompson was uncooperative upon being detained, repeatedly swearing and spitting at the MGM security. He was later transferred to University Medical Center for treatment for pain after possibly swallowing glass.
Clark County District Attorney’s Office is yet to issue a statement on what Bradley Thompson’s full charge sheet will look like.
