Ravid Garbi Surprise Winner in the $5,000 Six-Handed Championship

The $5,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Championship was one of the absolute highlights of the WSOP 2020 and it didn’t disappoint.
Huge $3,192,000 prize pool with $531,513 up top
A whopping 672 players created a massive prize pool of $3,192,000 with $531,513 up top.
Due to the large buy-in of $5,000, we saw an absolute world-class field with many big names making the money.
One of them was GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu, who streamed the late stages of the tournament on his YouTube Channel:

Daniel Negreanu’s deep run ended in 39th place for $14,599. Other notables, which busted just shy of the final table were Stefan Huber, Elio Fox, Luke Schwartz, Davidi Kitai and Twitch Poker streamer Michiel “Easterdamnz” Van Elsacker.
Several big games on the final table
Several big names such as Mikita Badziakouski, Ludovic Geilich, Preben Stokkan, Hun Wei Lee and online legend Chris Moorman all made the final table.
Chris “moorman1” Moorman is an absolute online poker legend and the record Triple Crown Winner with an insane 30 Triple Crowns!
He also has won a WSOP Bracelet in a $3,000 No Limit Hold’em 6 Handed at the 2017 WSOP for $498,682.

After three years, Moorman got the chance to win his second WSOP bracelet as he made it all the way to heads-up.
However, his opponent Ravid Garbi entered heads-up play with an almost 2.5 to 1 chiplead. Moorman fought back and even managed to take over the lead shortly.
Then Garbi pulled away though and continued to extend his lead to more than 3 to 1.
In the final hand Ravid Garbi shoved from the button with K♥8♣ and Chris Moorman called it off short with Q♠T♣.
Moorman didn’t get any help from the board of 2♦A♥5♦6♣A♣ and so the first bracelet of this year’s WSOP Online went to Israel in form of surprise winner Ravid Garbi together with a staggering $531,513.
