This Sunday poker tournament report is bigger than usual for partypoker. On top of the “regularly scheduled programming”, such as the Sunday High Roller Big Game and the High Roller Gladiator, party’s very special MILLIONS Online is also currently taking place.
The grandiose tournament has 4 day1’s, a $10,300 buy-in and no less than $20 million guaranteed in the prize pool. 230 are still in the race for the $2.5 million first prize.
MILLIONS Online $20M Update, @partypoker needs 600 runners tomorrow, $5.5 $22 $109 feeders running through night + hourly $1k turbo/hyper sats – looks like a miss to me – 1800 is forecast, but always same going into last day 1 of this event. Thx for all support KTF Rob 🐟 pic.twitter.com/u3MMtnR2hw

However, even though the MILLIONS online is still running, we already have other special results to report on.
“rmorell11” Wins $25,500 MILLIONS Online Super High Roller for $503,750 at partypoker
- Triple Sexy
A $25,500 buy-in MILLIONS Online super high roller was held yesterday. Partypoker did everything to make this a memorable weekend in their online poker room, and boy, did they succeed.
62 players entered in this high roller which meant the original $1 million guarantee was surpassed and weighed in at $1.550 million.
A player by the screen name “rmorell11” was the one to take down this grand Sunday poker tournament. He was rewarded with no less than $503,750 for his efforts.
He had to battle some real elite poker players along his way to victory. Jason Koon made it to the final table and took 5th place. Mikita “fish2013” Badziakouski and Isaac Haxton were playing in the tournament as well but failed to cash this time.
“NOLIMITHOLDEM” Wins High Roller Sunday Big Game for $165,528 at partypoker
As we wrote in our intro, party’s usual Sunday poker tournament line-up was also on the schedule.
The biggest feature on a regular Sunday is the $5,200 High Roller Sunday Big Game -evidently, this time it was topped by the MILLIONS Online Super High Roller.
However, there was still plenty of action there as well – 144 players entering, over 10 hours of tournament play, and a total of $720,000 rewarded among the players.
Someone with the moniker “NOLIMITHOLDEM’ got the biggest chunk of that “change”. The eventual victor won $165,528.
We had some familiar names in the mix in this field too. Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov came in 3rd for $86,400.
“kgroqigmqtbmqom” Wins $2,100 High Roller Gladiator for $57,398 at partypoker
- I am there
While all this crazy action was going on, party didn’t forget about their bounty Sunday poker tournament either.
The $200K GTD Gladiator was won by a player playing under the screen name “kgroqigmqtbmqom”. He collected $31,155 in bounties and $26,243 in first prize money.
Sunday Big Game winner “NOLIMITHOLDEM” tallied up another score, this time finishing 4th for $16,593.
“AlfredDelia” Wins $25K Blade for $430,683 at Natural8
While a $25K event running on partypoker is a rarity, a Sunday poker tournament with a buy-in that large is anything but that on Natural8.
In fact, just yesterday alone, 8 (!) invitational only $25K Blade high rollers were played.
The biggest one had 46 players registering and thus a total prize pool of $1.127 million. The winner was a player by the username “AlfredDelia” from Canada, who pocketed over $430K for his great victory.
Britain’s “Hiroyuki.T’ and Croatia’s “picasso16” had the second biggest scores this Sunday. They both beat a 41-player field in two other $25K Blades, thus both of them got $428,503 for their victories.
“139999” Wins SUNDAY MILLION for $107,863 at PokerStars
- ok-ok willDo
- United Kingdom
The SUNDAY MILLION was also back and running on Stars. After last week’s overlay, the famous $1 million guarantee was passed yesterday thanks to the 11,202 entrants.
Out of those over 11,000 people, a player from China playing under the screen name “139999” emerged victorious. He pocketed $107,863 after a heads-up deal with Ramon “ramonkrop” Kropmanns from Brazil.
Akash “strangejelly” Majumdar Wins The $20,000 Whale for $7,000 at 888Poker
888Poker chose an admirable way to promote their Sunday poker tournament. The $20,000 The Whale proudly announced in its name that they’ve lowered the rake. Out of the $320 buy-in, $310 went straight to the prize pool.
Despite that, unfortunately, they suffered an overlay.
However, that didn’t bother Akash “strangejelly” Majumdar from Bangladesh who won the event for $7,000. He’s no stranger to the online MTT scene, he has cashed for more than $4 million in online tournaments in his successful poker career.
