Bounty series is the hot thing on partypoker these days. Every Sunday, hundreds of thousands of dollars are given away on the site for knocking your opponents out of a tournament.
The last tournaments of the popular K.O. Series were held last night. It finished with a bang: with a $5,200 Super High Roller.
The player under the screen name “The0neWhoKnocks”, a reference to Breaking Bad character Walter White, took down the large event.
The prize pool was an inviting $1,519,800. $774,800 of that went for bounties; the remaining $745,000 was rewarded to the first 40 place finishers.
Usually, an event this large on partypoker draws celebrity players. This time British poker pro Patrick Leonard, Jeff Gross, and Roberto Romanello bought in for the event. However, none of them were able to make it into the money.

Yesterday the PLO Main Event was held. It drew 192 entries who paid the $2,100 buy-in, which meant the prize pool blew past the guarantee once again.
While the event was $250K GTD, eventually a total of $393,600 was awarded to the players.
The winner was “Meiko87”. Not much is known about our new PLO champion, but he’s sure not a newcomer to the online tournament scene – he has big tournament scores dating back to 2011.

However, the second-place finisher is quite a familiar name. It was Dzmitry Urbanovich, the Polish cardplayer who took down the $5,200 NLHE high roller for $192K last week. He earned an additional $47,987, playing PLO this time.

With the KO Series ending, the Main Event also had to be played out. Six hundred thirty-one players went to battle for the title, out of them, “PayAndPlay” emerged victoriously.
He collected $92,302 in bounties and $91,162 for the first prize, which meant his payday at partypoker totaled at $183,464.
Many famous poker pros bought in, trying to get the Main Event trophy for themselves. The line-up included Kristen “krissyb24” Bicknell, Jeff Gross, Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov, Joni “JJouhki” Jouhkimainen and more.
The prize pool for the KO Series Main Event was a whopping $1,293,550 -a fitting end for the highly successful KO Series.

Meanwhile, on Natural8, no less than $708,100 were awarded for the players in the $10,000 buy-in blade event.
One of the biggest grinders in the GGNetwork room, the British “StacknNvrSlackn” took down this monstrously big event. He bagged $194,735.

Seventeen players sat down at the virtual felt to battle for a piece of the $416,500 prize pool in the $25K Turbo tournament.
Canada’s Picasso16 got the most significant piece of it, managing to beat the field on just one bullet. He earned $270,725 for his feat.
Macau’s “oldfishing” took the only other paying spot. The second place paid $145,775.
Francisco “chiconogue” Nogueira Wins XL Eclipse Main Event for $57,826 on 888Poker

The Brazilain Fransisco Nogueria scored a huge win on 888 last night.
He took down the $250 buy-in XL Eclipse Main Event, topping a field of 1,647 players. After a 4-way ICM deal, he pocketed $57,826 – To put it into perspective how big a victory it must be for him: that is more than four times what his career earnings are in live tournaments, according to Hendon.
Overall, over half a million dollars was in the prize for the XL Eclipse Main Event. 207 ITM finisher divided it among themselves.
The field saw some true poker superstars, such as 2014 WSOP Main Event winner Martin Jacobson, or one of the biggest online tournament winners of all time, Chris Moorman.
