A poker player was arrested during the Colorado State Poker Championship this week after some table banter got out of hand. Unhappy about being called a ‘transvestite’, the woman called the police – but her complaint backfired when they discovered that there was a warrant out for her arrest.

The drama played out at the Golden State Casino in Black Hawk after a typical table discussion between two players escalated into insults.
Facing a bet, the woman’s opponent offered to show his hand if she folded and showed hers. The woman then stated she’d rather show her tits than her cars and folded.
This might have been the end of matters, but as WSOP bracelet winner Will Givens tweeted, things were only just getting started.

This is just the latest in a series of summer madness that has infected the poker world, coming on the back of a World Series that saw two big incidents.
Further Incidents at the WSOP
First up was Russian player Georgi Belianin, who was disqualified for stealing chips from his neighbour at the table.

Removed from the premises, Belianin’schipstack and $10k buy-in was forfeited, the player later apologising profusely for his crazy antics.
If that wasn’t enough for one tournament, then the Ken Strauss WSOP story was enough for a lifetime.
Dropping his pants, flashing his dick and throwing his shoe at the dealer was enough to see him ejected from the tournament and the Rio Casino.

…but Strauss simply moved on to the Luxor and re-enacted his drama there…

He’s eventually taken away in cuffs while people in the casino start chanting “yes” back.

Two weeks later, Strauss had completely lost it, his Twitter feed in meltdown and the Pittsburgh man eventually arrested for making ‘terrorist threats’ against Vegas casinos…
