PokerStars Winter Series Details
The PokerStars Winter Series starts on December 25th and will be running until January 14th.
It consists of a whopping 291 tournaments in all buy-ins and poker formats. Buy-ins start at as low as $2.20 and go all the way up to $10,300.
Poker games that are featured in the schedule are of course Texas Hold’em, Omaha, but also more exotic variants such as H.O.R.S.E. and Stud.
PokerStars Winter Series Main Events
The Winter Series Main Events will take place on Sunday, January 9th with a combined $4.5 million with three different buy-in levels to choose from.
- Low $55 buy-in Main Event: $1 million guaranteed
- Medium $530 buy-in Main Event: $1.5 million guaranteed
- High $5,200 buy-in Main Event: $2 million guaranteed
$250,000 PLO Main Event
The fans of the game with the four cards will also get their money’s worth on the same day with a PLO Main Event.
The Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event offers a huge $250,000 guarantee for a reasonable buy-in of $215.
The Sunday Two Million
The Sunday Two Million doesn’t really need an introduction, as its name already gives it away.
