Phil Hellmuth Calls Chino Rheem The Worst Fucking Player Ever

The Poker Brat is well and truly alive! Phil Hellmuth’s abusive alter ego took centre stage at this week’s US Poker Open, lighting up Chino Rheem with a foul-mouthed rant describing Rheem as “the worst fucking player ever!”

Phil Hellmuth’s potty-mouth tirade against Rheem came as he was dumped out of US Poker Open Event #8 in the highroller series, finishing 4th and extremely unhappy about his exit.

As Rheem flopped a straight that would leave Phil needing a miracle to survive, the 16-time WSOP bracelet winner went off at his opponent in classic poker Brat style…

Phil Hellmuth Calls Chino Rheem The Worst Fucking Player Ever

“This fucking idiot, I want to play with him the rest of my life. He just calls 350,000…with fucking garbage. How the fuck do I finish 4th…this guy, he’s the worst fucking player ever…he fucking flops the nuts…he doesn’t deserve it. He doesn’t fucking deserve it, it’s horrendous play…he doesn’t understand math. I want to throw up…wtf…”

Summoning up a sarcastic “Good game buddy,” when the board bricked, Phil was still slagging Rheem as he left the PokerGO studio: “…I’m sick to my stomach…the worst fucking player has all the fucking chips…gets himself trapped for 350 fucking thousand…why? Why put a fucking penny in?”

If you thought it was something personal against Rheem, who has become infamous for his scamming over the years, then the very next event made it clear that Hellmuth was just being Hellmuth.

Alex Foxen was his next target, and just watch him trying to keep a straight face as the Poker Brat laid into him for having the temerity to hit his hand…

Next up in the Poker Brat sights was Tamon Nakamura, who had the audacity to crack Phil’s big slick…

Phil Hellmuth Q4o Preflop All-In Call breaks the internet!

What would follow, however, was headline-making news – and this time Hellmuth was the one delivering the cooler/bad beat, in a hand that would soon go viral, when Hellmuth made a horrific All-In Preflop call with Q4 offsuit vs. Alex Foxen

Of course, had that hand happened against Phil Hellmuth, there would have been a Poker Brat explosion of epic proportions. Instead, he seemed to revel in the fallout, queen-four offsuit memes appearing all over poker Twitter…

Kevin Martin even put together a fake hand chart that showed Hellmuth’s 4-bet calling range…

…and Phil had already forgotten his own expletive-filled rants. What he also seems to have forgotten was his rant from last year’s WSOP, talking about “burning down the Rio”. That led to an apology after the poker community called him out for his behaviour.

“My Mother and Father were embarrassed/mad at me…My friends told me I was out of line. After 44 hrs of ridicule on social media, and realizing my rants set a bad example for poker players everywhere, I think I can reign it in A LOT. I might not be perfect, but I can be better…”

Phil Hellmuth’s version of “better” seems to have lost its way in the last 6 months, and it’s surely only a matter of time before the Poker Brat persona raises its ugly head once again.
