Phil Hellmuth Announces WSOP Main Event Costume Entrance Together with Jungleman

Phil Hellmuth has tweeted a poll seeking opinions from his fans about which costume he and Dan “Jungleman” Cates should wear for their grand entrance in the 2022 WSOP Main Event.

The “Poker Brat” is known for coming up with extravagant costume ideas every year, often leading to a social media frenzy with fans trying to guess what he has come up with.

Phil Hellmuth and Jungleman Consider Costumes for 2022 WSOP Main Event

Usually, Hellmuth has made this side-show his own but last year Jungleman joined in on the fun as the pair dressed up as characters from Lord of the Rings with Hellmuth as Gandalf the White.

Phil Hellmuth Loves to Make a Show

In previous years we have seen Phil Hellmuth turn up dressed as Thor and an MMA fighter, but no costume ever had such as reaction as in 2009 when he dressed as Caesar himself.

Jungleman is also getting into the dressing up spirit a lot more in recent times.

Last week, the poker legend defended his WSOP $50K Poker Players Championship title dressed up as a macho man Randy Savage, and opted for a cowboy outfit when facing off against Doug Polk in their high-stakes heads-up match.

So, what can we expect the paired to turn up as this time?

There were plenty of suggestions from Twitter posters who weren’t impressed with the options in Hellmuth’s poll.

Some of the more amusing choices were Dumb and Dumber, Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street and even stoners Cheech and Chong.

We look forward to seeing what they decide upon as they make their grand entrance at Tuesday 4pm Las Vegas time.
