Tobias Schwecht wins GGOC Main Event after 4-way deal
The GG Online Championship Main Event was one of the online poker tournament highlights of the year as it boasted an incredible $8M Guarantee with $727,640.08 up top.
916 of the top tournament players fought for their piece of the biggest online poker tournament prize pool worth a whopping $8,702,475.
We saw a really strong final table including tournament god Michael Addamo, Tobias Duthweiler, Roman Hrabec, Arsenii “hello_totti” Malinov, Daniel Smiljkovic and Tobias Schwecht.
As the pay jumps were enormous at the top four places the latter four decided to make a deal, which secured themselves a minimum of $571,112.
The biggest share of the prize pool as well as the prestigious title went to German regular Tobias Schwecht. It is by far the largest score of his career, since his biggest live score is “only” a mere $20,329.
Daniel Dvoress and Ottomar Ladva Chop the Sunday Million SHR for $4ook each
Event 120-H was a Sunday Million Super High Roller with a massive buy-in of $25,500. 77 high stakes crushers signed up and created a huge $1,925,000 prize pool.
Only 11 places were paid and it was top pro Daniel Dvoress who secured the biggest payday worth a staggering $423,845.
Dvoress made a heads-up with chess grandmaster and former Super MILLION$ champion Ottomar Ladva. The Estonian walked away with a whopping $379,372.
Further notables, who made the final table were Dimitar Danchev, Ole Schemion, Mikalai Vaskaboinikau, Thomas Muehlöcker, Stephen Chidwick and German tournament legend Ole Schemion.
