Haircut and bodywaxing top Negreanu’s post vaccine plans

Most of us have plans for when life gets back to some kind of ‘normal’ post-Covid, but for Daniel Negreanu it’s a haircut and body wax that are top of the list…

Negreanu’s post-lockdown plans

Skipping down the list to ‘play live poker’, Daniel seems to have conveniently forgotten that he faced off with Phil Hellmuth just a couple of weeks ago.

DNegs lost $50,000 to the PokerBrat in their HighStakesDuel II match on PokerGO, after Hellmuth launched an incredible comeback. Daniel will get his chance for revenge on May 5th when they meet again, the stakes raised to $100k apiece for the rematch.

Getting back to his post-Covid19 vaccine plans, and fellow high stakes pro, Mustapha Kanit, had a solution to the haircut problems…

…although the Italian-born crusher’s famous moustache (hence his Il Mustacchione nickname) is thankfully still intact, as his haircut pic showed…

Twitter reactions

Moving on to Negreanu’s body-waxing desires and, as you might expect on Twitter, it was met with incredulity and hilarity, the following tweet perhaps the best and most painful.

Not that Daniel doesn’t have previous, sharing several photos revealing his new ripped look body transformation last summer.

Steve Carell’s 40-year-old virgin’ role aside (Negreanu is 46-years old for the record) it’s dinner out with his wife Amanda that he wants next, telling one Twitter poker fan that he hasn’t even left home for grocery shopping.

“I could live happily at home without ever leaving for a decade. Easily and genuinely blissful,” claimed DNegs, although he’ll have to venture out for his rematch with Hellmuth, and for the live version of the World Series of Poker, slated for September to November this year.

With ice hockey last on his ‘to-do’ list, Negreanu will be kept busy at least for a while with his post-vaccine plans, although the usual motley crew of naysayers and ne’er-do-wells had to be dealt with.

When quizzed as to why he took the vaccine, Negreanu replied: “I trust the science and want to do my part to end human suffering. If the vaccine helps make it less likely I can spread it, I think it’s a no-brainer.

Batting away the conspiracy theorists he continued, “I haven’t seen a single shred of scientific evidence that suggests the vaccine is a risk. But then again, I don’t frequent Qanon message boards.”

As we reported last month, Negreanu’s ‘Grudge Match’ adversary, Doug Polk, had to put up with the same nonsense after he received his Moderna vaccine shot…

Florida too wild for Negreanu?

Polk has packed up and left Vegas for parts unknown, but for Daniel it was an invitation to Florida that was on the agenda.

However, it doesn’t look like the sunshine state will be  on his travel list anytime soon, Negreanu responding with, “Thanks, but I’ll pass on the Florida trips y’all are too fucking wild for me!”

That might not be quite true if we go by this old pic that Daniel tweets out when the occasion suits.
