German Tennis Legend and Poker Ambassador Boris Becker Sent To Prison for 2.5 Years

German tennis legend, former Wimbledon champion and poker ambassador Boris Becker has been sent to prison for two and a half years for hiding £2,500,000 in assets in order to avoid paying debts.

The German tennis legend and former PokerStars, partypoker and GGPoker ambassador found guilty of four charges under the Insolvency Act.

The four charges were concealing debt, removal of property, and two counts of failing to disclose assets based on Becker’s bankruptcy in June 2017, which resulted from an unpaid loan of more than £3,000,000 for his luxury finca in Mallorca.

What added insult to injury was that Boris Becker didn’t show had any acceptance of guilt in front of the court said Judge Deborah Taylor.
