Dominik Panka wins first WSOP Bracelet in the $2,100 Bounty Championship for $185,228

Dominik Panka became a poker legend in Poland by beating Mike McDonald Heads-Up as a newcomer at the 2014 PCA. More than seven years later he has now won his first WSOP bracelet in Event #28: $2,100 Bounty Championship No-Limit Hold’em for $185,228.

A new first-time bracelet winner that is also a big name in the poker world has been crowned in WSOP Online 2021 Event #28: $2,100 Bounty Championship No-Limit Hold’em.

Polish local hero Dominik Panka beat a field of 1,064 entries to claim his first WSOP bracelet and the $185,228 first place prize.

The tournament created a prize pool of $2,128,000 with Panka earning the biggest chunk by defeating Fengdian “Shandongmenghu” Wang heads-up.

Online legend Chris Moorman makes the final table

The final table also featured the online poker tournament legend himself Chris “Moorman1” Moorman.

Moorman has won not less than 30 Online Poker Triple Crowns and racked up $18.6 million in cashes.

This time he had to leave his seat in 7th place though, falling shy of his third WSOP bracelet.

Another famous name on the FT was strong Russian female pro Natalya “Nikitina N1” Nikitina, who fell in 5th place for $61,979.38.

Dominik Panka finally wins his first WSOP Bracelet

Prior to his victory, Dominik Panka already had 62 overall and 14 WSOP cashes for more than $126,000 under his belt.

In live tournaments the Polish was even more successful boasting a whopping $3,163,195 in live winnings.

This takes him to the 3rd Place in the Poland All Time Money List behind Dzmitry Urbanovich and online legend Wiktor “limitless” Malinowski, who just overtook him by winning the 2021 Super High Roller Bowl for $3,690,000.

Unforgotten is Dominik Panka’s Heads-Up against Mike “Timex” McDonald, where he entered the tournament as Nobody and managed to beat one of the best tournament players in the world at that time in an epic heads-up battle (Watch it below!).

The 2014 PCA Main Event victory for $1,423,096 is still by far the biggest cash of Panka’s poker career.
