Dan Bilzerian, the self-styled King of Instagram, has made an appearance at this year’s India Poker Championships.
The celebrity millionaire stopped by in Goa to take part in the country’s most prestigious live poker series. Famed for his love of fast cars and girls, Bilzerian revels in his high-profile lifestyle.
Dan Bilzerian Takes On India’s Best
Hosted at the Big Daddy Casino, the festival attracted a whole host of top players from India. Including World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Nikita Luther.
Bilzerian was always going to have his work cut out for him amongst such tough players.

Does Anybody Believe Bilzerian’s Claims on Poker?
It’s a fact that the vast majority of the poker community does not believe Dan Bilzerian’s claims about poker.
There is no conclusive proof on the matter but we have seen the 38-year-old Armenian American in action on TwitchTV. Usually with his friend Bill Perkins on a luxury yacht.
To put it mildly, what we witnessed was embarrassing and only served to reinforce the perception that he can’t play poker.
Masquerading as a high-stakes poker player is almost impossible. The game’s best have such an intellectual clarity on strategy that Bilzerian has never been able to show.
It is true that private high-stakes games can be insanely soft, but this is due to them often being populated by the super-rich who only play for fun.
Maybe Bilzerian did come across such a table, but it doesn’t explain how he found the bankroll necessary to even sit down and play.
With only a single $36,600 cash on his live tournament record, the American hasn’t convinced us that he knows anything about playing good poker.
It was rumoured that during this visit to Goa, Bilzerian would be playing in an invitation only high-stakes cash game with wealthy VIPs.
Hopefully some footage of this will surface and then we can delve deeper into the mystery of his poker prowess. Let us see if he really is as good as he says in a live environment against weak players.
