The $6 Million GTD Venom tournament on Americas Cardroom (ACR) is going to be here soon, starting November 27th. And it is already causing the poker world to get really excited.
Qualify for the $6 Million Venom through Cyclone Tournaments
A whopping $1 million will go to the winner, just like during the $5 Million Venom this past summer which had a $6,382,500 final prize pool. That should grow even bigger this time around.
You can always pay the $2,650 buy-in to grab a Venom seat, but ACR also has plenty of other ways to qualify through Regular Satellites, Mega Satellites, Step and Skip Tournaments. If you want even more chances, though, simply ride a Cyclone.
Cyclone games will start on November 14th and are available for both desktop and mobile platforms. They’re unique events, being a type of blitz satellite that is blazing fast.
You start by selecting any of the seven steps you want to buy into (see below), with the first step costing just 25 cents. Once you earn 5,000 chips, you automatically move up to the next level and if you work your way through Step 7, you get a $2,650 Venom seat!
What makes Cyclones even more interesting is that you can stop playing them at any time and you won’t lose any of your chip stack – everything’s there when you come back.
