Hye Park takes last-minute chip lead on Day 6
It gets exciting at the 2021 WSOP Main Event as we are only 25 players away from the final table! US pro Hye Park is chip leader with 29,500,000 chips and 36 players left.
Park has $471,504 in live tournament winnings and 40 cashes with the biggest one coming from a 5th place at the 2018 MSPT Event #75, a $1,655 No Limit Hold’em event.
Biggest names left in the field: Chance Kornuth and Koray Aldemir
Biggest names left in the 2021 WSOP Main Event are German high roller regular Koray Aldemir and Chance Kornuth.
Kornuth was causing a big controversy on Day 5 with a potential Angle-Shoot:

Chance is looming in 11th place with 13,645,000 in chips and due to his experience is definitely one of the top contenders to make the final table.
Another one is Koray Aldemir, who has a whopping $12,334,110 and the most live winnings including a 3rd place in the 2016 $111,111 High Roller for One Drop for a whopping $2,154,265.
Aldemir goes into Day 7 as one of the big stacks sitting pretty in 5th Place with 18,905,000 chips and will be a force to be reckoned with.
