Jungleman Itching to Finish the durrrr Challenge
Dan “Jungleman” Cates has tweeted that he expects his durrrr Challenge match with Tom Dwan to finish. The American high stakes star told his followers that Dwan seems honourable and following their recent agreement it is at least likely to finally come to an end.
Well @TomDwan has made it part of the way and shown evidence of honorability (I am surprised that’s a word) so I suspect it’s likely at least on our recent agreement

This is exciting news if we really are going to see some high stakes heads-up action from two of the best in the business.
It is almost impossible to come up with a more iconic pair of names than “durrrr” and “Jungleman”.
The question on everybody’s lips right now has to be how recent is this agreement that Jungleman speaks of?
Surely Tom Dwan is running out of excuses by now. The 10-year anniversary of Black Friday passed a couple of weeks ago and we’ve even had recent heads-up battles taking place inside the US. It’s time to get going once again.
Both players are active and should be fresh and motivated to play. Jungleman certainly is.
Is Tom Dwan Being Let Off the Hook too Easily?
Although Jungleman does have a reputation for getting upset easily in certain situations, he is generally mild-mannered with a soft nature.
It’s no surprise that his Twitter followers think that he’s letting Dwan off the hook here far too easily.
“You are letting him off the hook too easy imo. You need to straight up tell him either we finish in the next 3 months or I won’t play, It’s been long enough. If he has any honour he will find a way. He is choosing not to for his benefit. Stop acting the fool. “
Harsh words but true.
The high stakes poker scene is supposed to be underpinned by integrity. This means that players who have shown themselves to be unscrupulous in the past can find themselves not welcome in a lot of games. Self-policing, if you will.
Should Tom Dwan Be Pushed to Play or Forfeit Immediately?
There is an argument for just saying play or conclude the durrrr challenge. Jungleman has $1.5 million waiting in a side bet if this happens.
On the other hand, Tom Dwan has reportedly paid as much as $800,000 in penalty fees. Possibly more now because we learned this in 2017.
Hey, anyone able to get in touch with you? Let’s conclude our stuff?

We await more news on the durrrr challenge 2 in the coming weeks. Surely the worldwide lockdowns made this a perfect time to just crack on and finish.
