Online Poker Traffic soars as Americans and Europeans stay at home
Due to the spread of the Coronavirus several countries around the world have announced national shutdowns and inhabitants are forced to stay at home or quarantine.
India, China, France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, Poland and the UK have implemented the world’s largest and most restrictive mass quarantines.
In addition to that, some of the biggest online poker markets such as the USA, the UK and Germany have issued strict contact restrictions and since that turnout at the online poker tables has been at historic levels.
This resulted in one of the biggest traffic increases ever and online poker has just set a 5 Year High with numbers not seen since 2015/2016!

You can clearly see the explosive increase, since the first quarantines started and as more and more countries now are or are going into national lockdown this is expected the online poker traffic is expected to rise even further!

Cash game traffic has set a new 5 year high, while online tournament numbers are also constantly on the rise.
