Police officers were patrolling in the area on Las Vegas Boulevard at around 10:40 p.m. local time and rushed to the scene upon hearing gunfire. A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department statement said:
“On June 8, 2025, at approximately 10.40pm, LVMPD officers were on routine patrol in the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard when they heard gunfire coming from the west side of the street.
“The officers immediately ran toward the area where the gunfire was heard and located two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived, and the two victims were pronounced dead at the scene.”
Police later said that they think the incident stemmed from a social media conflict which spiralled out of control during the evening.
YouTube accounts named “Sin City Manny” and “Finny Da Legend” were said to have been live streaming prior to the shooting although all video has now been removed.
Finny Da Legend and his wife Bubbly are thought to have been murdered by 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz who later turned himself in at a Henderson Police Department station.

A woman was having some kind of an altercation with a man wearing a white cap when a man who appeared to know her stepped over to speak to the man. The man in the cap then pulled out a gun and started firing at the pair.
