WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 has crowned its champion. Greek businessman and poker player Georgios Vrakas captured his first World Series of Poker Circuit ring and a career-defining €164,000 prize in the €1,500 Main Event on January 13th at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

The WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 Main Event attracted 692 entries, generating a prize pool of €1,038,000 that exceeded the €1,000,000 guarantee.

After four hours of intense final table action, Vrakas emerged victorious, defeating Mexican player José Gómez Casillas in heads-up play at the prestigious venue.

The WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 final table featured players from seven different countries, showcasing the international appeal of this major European poker stop.

Czech players Roman Papáček (4th, €52,100) and Zdeněk Žižka (7th, €19,900) represented the home nation, with Žižka enjoying a particularly stellar festival after also claiming a ring in the Mystery Bounty event earlier in the series.

The decisive hand at the WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 Main Event saw Vrakas holding 6♦5♦ against Casillas’ Q♦J♥. The board came down 6♣4♥3♦K♣A♠, giving Vrakas a pair of sixes to secure the championship.

Casillas took home €109,500 for his runner-up finish, while Switzerland’s Yannick Jobin rounded out the podium with €74,700 for third place.

Romanian player Cosmin-Ionut Nica captured the festival’s biggest single prize outside the Main Event, winning the €3,000 High Roller NLH at WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 for €68,100 and his first World Series of Poker Circuit ring.

The event drew 93 entries and created a prize pool of €279,000. Nica defeated Turkey’s Ersin Sancak in heads-up play after navigating a final table dominated by Italian players. The victory marks a new career-high score for the Romanian professional poker player.

Italy’s Daniele Sacchi claimed his first WSOPC ring in the €600 6-Max NLH at WSOPC King’s Resort 2026, taking home €26,240 from a field of 221 entries.

The Rome-based player has been in strong form recently, finishing second in the Pirates Poker Treasure Christmas Mystery Bounty in Rozvadov last month and third at EPT Prague.

Slovenian player Jan Zupec closed out the WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 festival by winning the €1,000 Bounty Hunter NLH for €22,270 and the twelfth and final ring.

Zupec has been riding a hot streak since summer 2025, when he won the Poker EM Main Event in Velden, Austria for €151,000.

WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 Mini Main and Ring Events

The most popular event at WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 was the €330 Mini Main, which attracted a massive 1,602 entries to create a €500,000 prize pool. Italy’s Andrea Iocco emerged victorious, collecting €62,000 for his efforts in this affordable buy-in tournament.

The 13-day WSOPC King’s Resort 2026 series featured 12 ring events across various formats including PLO, Mystery Bounty, and traditional NLHE tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from €330 to €3,000.

Each ring winner also received a €5,000 King’s Million package as an added bonus, making the festival one of the most valuable WSOP Circuit stops in Europe.
