ACR Rakeback & Rewards Review

Americas Cardroom is built around long-term rewards. Every hand you play contributes to one of two main rakeback options: a simple 27% fixed rakeback deal, or the Elite Benefits VIP program which can reach up to roughly 65% effective rakeback when you combine all components (cashback, medals, VIP bonuses and leaderboard prizes).

When you join through VIP-Grinders, you can choose whichever option suits your volume and playing style best: the flat 27% deal for simplicity, or Elite Benefits if you’re aiming for maximum long-term value.

How ACR Calculates Rake, Points & Rewards

ACR uses the Weighted Contributed rake method. That means each player’s share of the pot determines how much rake is attributed to them, and all rakeback and rewards are calculated on this contributed amount.

From there, ACR tracks your play with two key point types:

  • Rank Points (RPs): used to determine your Elite Benefits level. You earn 5.5 RPs for every $1 you pay in rake or tournament fees (fractional points are possible).
  • Combat Points (CPs): this is the cashable currency of the Elite Benefits program. Your RPs are automatically converted into CPs at a rate that depends on your current VIP rank.

In short:

Rake paid → RPs → VIP rank → CPs → cash + extra bonuses (Medals & VIP rewards)

Both the fixed 27% rakeback deal and the Elite Benefits program start from the same underlying rake tracking – the difference is how that rake is turned into money back in your account.

Option 1 – Fixed 27% Rakeback

The fixed rakeback option is straightforward: you receive 27% of your contributed rake back as cash, usually paid weekly to your account. There are no ranks to climb, no point conversions to manage, and no expiry rules to worry about.

This option is typically best for:

  • Players with low to medium volume who don’t want to think about VIP systems.
  • Grinders who value stable, predictable weekly cashback over chasing maximum possible return.
  • Players who don’t consistently hit high rake figures every month.

A simple example:

If you generate $1,000 in rake during a period:

  • 27% fixed rakeback = $270 paid back to your account, regardless of your volume profile or VIP rank.

There are no extra steps – your share of rake is tracked via Weighted Contributed, multiplied by 27%, and you get that amount as direct rakeback. For many small and mid-stakes players, this ends up being more practical than trying to climb the Elite Benefits ladder.

Option 2 – Elite Benefits (Up to ~65% Effective Rakeback)

The Elite Benefits program is where ACR’s maximum value lies. Instead of a flat 27% payout, your rake turns into RPs and CPs, which then translate into:

  • Direct cash redemptions from CPs in the rewards store.
  • Medals of Achievement: yearly cash milestones based on total RPs.
  • VIP Recognition rewards: large one-time cash bonuses for very high RPs.
  • Extra value from rake races like The Beast and Sit & Crush, funded by rake.

When you put all of this together, high-volume players can realistically push their total effective rakeback into the 60-65% range, especially if they consistently place well in the main leaderboard races.

Elite Benefits Ranks & RP Requirements

Your Elite Benefits rank is based on how many Rank Points (RPs) you earn in a month or year:

RankLevelRP RequirementType
Lieutenant1None (default)Starting rank for all players
Captain2750 RPs per monthFirst monthly grind target
Major33,000 RPs per monthMid-volume grinders
Colonel47,500 RPs per monthSerious regulars
General5100,000 RPs in a calendar yearHigh-volume yearly target
5-Star General61,000,000 RPs in a calendar yearTop-tier VIPs

Once you reach General or 5-Star General, you keep that rank at least until March 1 of the following year. After that, you need ongoing monthly RPs to maintain it, but you still benefit from the higher CP conversion while you’re at the top.

RP → CP Conversion by Rank

As you move up the ranks, your RPs convert to CPs faster, which directly boosts your long-term cashback:

RankRP → CP RatioNotes
Lieutenant1 RP : 1 CPBase level
Captain1 RP : 1.5 CPEarly improvement
Major1 RP : 2 CPsGood for mid-volume
Colonel1 RP : 2.5 CPsStrong long-term value
General1 RP : 3.5 CPsHigh-level VIP
5-Star General1 RP : 5 CPsMaximum CP generation

Remember: you earn 5.5 RPs for every $1 in rake/fees. At the top levels, this means each dollar in rake translates into a lot of CPs, and therefore a lot of cash when you redeem them.

Turning Combat Points into Cash

Combat Points can be exchanged for real money in the rewards store. The higher your rank, the more redemption options you unlock, including larger, more efficient packages. Typical tiers include:

CP AmountCash ValueRank Required
100 CPs$1All ranks
1,000 CPs$10All ranks
4,500 CPs$50Captain+
25,000 CPs$300Major+
50,000 CPs$600Colonel+
100,000 CPs$1,500General+
250,000 CPs$4,000General+
625,000 CPs$10,0005-Star General only

Higher packages usually give you better “value per CP”, which is where a large part of the extra rakeback percentage comes from at high volume. By timing your redemptions and targeting the bigger bundles, you maximize the cash you get back from the same amount of rake.

Medals of Achievement & VIP Recognition Bonuses

On top of CP redemptions, ACR also pays out extra yearly cash bonuses as you hit RP milestones:

Medals of Achievement (annual RPs):

Rank Points (RPs)Cash RewardMedal Type
750 RPs$10Early milestone
1,500 RPs$10Progress reward
5,000 RPs$50Significant milestone
10,000 RPs$50Major milestone
50,000 RPs$100Elite milestone
100,000 RPs$200Top yearly milestone

VIP Recognition Rewards for very high yearly RPs:

Rank Points (RPs)Cash RewardRecognition Level
200,000 RPs$2,600VIP Recognition
500,000 RPs$3,200High VIP Status
1,000,000 RPs$20,0005-Star General Achievement
2,000,000 RPs$19,200Ultimate VIP Status

These bonuses are pure cash, with no extra wagering requirements, and they sit on top of whatever you already earned via CP cashouts. For serious grinders, just the VIP Recognition rewards alone can add several percentage points to the effective rakeback number.

How Elite Benefits Reaches ~60–65% Effective Rakeback

Elite Benefits reaches its peak value when you combine three elements:

  • 1CP Cashouts: At General and 5-Star General, the RP → CP ratios and high-level redemption options can already represent a very strong percentage of your rake back as direct cash.
  • 2Medals & VIP Recognition: Yearly milestones add lump-sum cash bonuses which, when divided by your yearly rake, effectively add several extra percentage points.
  • 3Rake Races (The Beast & Sit & Crush): These weekly leaderboards are funded from rake and pay out significant prize pools. If you’re consistently placing near the top, that prize money is essentially additional rakeback.

For example, a high-volume cash game or MTT grinder generating large amounts of rake every month, maintaining at least General or 5-Star General status, redeeming CPs in the most efficient cash bundles, and hitting regular scores in The Beast or Sit & Crush can realistically push their total effective return into the 60–65% range over a full year.

That’s why you’ll often see third-party sites and serious regs reference Elite Benefits as an “up to 65% rakeback” system – it’s not just the CP cashback, but the full package of rewards layered together.

27% vs Elite Benefits – Which Deal Should You Choose?

Choosing between 27% and Elite Benefits comes down to your monthly rake volume, your consistency, and how much effort you’re willing to invest in grinding ranks and races.

27% Fixed Rakeback is usually best if:

  • You generate under roughly $1,500 in rake per month on a regular basis.
  • You prefer a simple, predictable weekly payout with no VIP micromanagement.
  • You play more casually, or your volume fluctuates a lot month to month.

Elite Benefits is usually best if:

  • You are a high-volume grinder (cash, MTT, or SNG) and play regularly most days of the week.
  • You can realistically reach and maintain at least Major / Colonel, ideally General or higher.
  • You’re willing to chase leaderboard value in The Beast and Sit & Crush to unlock the full ~60–65% potential.

A crucial detail: you cannot receive both 27% rakeback and Elite Benefits at the same time. Rakeback players are excluded from Elite Benefits by default, but you can usually request a one-time conversion from 27% to Elite Benefits through support if you decide to step up your volume later.

If you are joining through VIP-Grinders with the VIPELITE promo code and you already know that you’re going to grind seriously, Elite Benefits is where the long-term ceiling truly is. If you’re unsure about your future volume or you simply want hassle-free, guaranteed weekly cashback, the flat 27% rakeback deal remains a very solid, low-maintenance choice.

Extra Rakeback Value with VIP-Grinders on ACR

When you join Americas Cardroom through VIP-Grinders, you unlock several exclusive rewards that directly increase your effective rakeback on top of ACR’s official 27% rakeback or Elite Benefits system. These offers are not available to standard ACR players and add real, measurable long-term value for grinders.

Instead of relying only on cashback from rake, VIP-Grinders players compete for additional prize pools and private freerolls that function as extra rakeback over time.

$3,000 WPN VG Race (VIP-Grinders Exclusive Rakeback Boost)

The $3,000 WPN VG Race is a monthly leaderboard running across Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker and Ya Poker. Your regular real-money play on ACR automatically earns points toward this race with no additional registration required.

With up to $600 paid to 1st place and prizes spread across the top 20 finishers, this race consistently adds meaningful extra value for active players and behaves like additional rakeback when you place well.

$2,000 WPN Depositor Freeroll (Extra Rakeback via VIP-Grinders)

This is a private $2,000 depositor freeroll exclusive to VIP-Grinders players on Winning Poker Network rooms. A single qualifying deposit gives you a free shot at a $500 first prize in a soft, limited-entry field.

2 × $250 ACR Private Freerolls (VIP-Grinders Only)

Each month, VIP-Grinders also hosts two private $250 freerolls on ACR, available only to tracked players. These events require no buy-in and all prizes are paid directly into your ACR poker balance.

Passwords are delivered inside your VIP-Grinders account shortly before each tournament, and only verified players can participate.

Full details: 2 × $250 ACR Freerolls

These VIP-Grinders rewards do not replace ACR’s official rakeback system, they stack on top of it. Over several months of consistent play, the added cash from VG races and exclusive freerolls effectively increases your true rakeback well beyond the base 27% or Elite Benefits return.

Additional Rakeback from ACR Network Races

On top of ACR’s official 27% rakeback or the Elite Benefits system (up to ~65%), players can earn additional rakeback through two major network-funded leaderboard races:

  • The Beast – Weekly cash game rake race with cash and tournament prizes.
  • Sit & Crush – Weekly leaderboard for Sit & Gos, Jackpot Poker and On-Demand tournaments.

These promotions are funded directly from rake and their payouts stack on top of all other rakeback rewards, increasing your total effective return.

The Beast – Weekly Cash Game Rake Race

The Beast is ACR’s long-running weekly cash game leaderboard. You earn points automatically based on Weighted Contributed rake, and prizes are paid every Monday for the previous week’s race.

Cash Prize TiersPrize Amount
Tier 1$500
Tier 2$250
Tier 3$125
Tier 4$50

For every $3,500 added to the Beast prize pool, ACR adds:

  • One $500 prize.
  • Two $250 prizes.
  • Five $125 prizes.
  • Twenty $50 prizes.

In addition to cash, top finishers also receive tournament seats for major ACR events. Because the prize pools are funded from rake, all Beast winnings act as direct extra rakeback on top of your normal deal.

Sit & Crush – Sit & Go, Jackpot & On-Demand Race

Sit & Crush is the equivalent leaderboard for Sit & Gos, Jackpot Poker and On-Demand tournaments. You earn points from tournament fees, regardless of whether you cash or not. Weekly competitions run from Saturday to Friday, with payouts by the end of the weekend.

Cash Prize TiersPrize Amount
Tier 1$500
Tier 2$250
Tier 3$125
Tier 4$50

For every $3,500 added to the Sit & Crush prize pool, the same tier structure is funded as with The Beast. On top of cash prizes, players also receive tournament ticket rewards based on final leaderboard position.

Players also earn double Sit & Crush points in On-Demand tournaments, making these formats especially valuable for leaderboard climbing.

How These Races Affect Your True Rakeback

The Beast and Sit & Crush are not guaranteed cashback like fixed rakeback, but for active players they can add a significant extra layer of return:

  • Occasional cash finishes add pure extra rakeback on top of 27% or Elite Benefits.
  • Consistent high-volume players can push their total effective return closer to the 60–65% range.

For grinders already targeting Elite Benefits, these races form the final piece of the puzzle that allows ACR’s overall reward structure to realistically reach the highest effective rakeback levels in the industry.

ACR Rake Structure – Americas Cardroom Review

Americas Cardroom uses a Weighted Contributed rake system across all formats. This means you only pay rake proportional to how much you contribute to each pot.

Below is a full breakdown of how rake works across cash games, fixed limit, Jackpot Poker, and tournaments, so you know exactly what you’re paying at every stake.

No-Limit & Pot-Limit Cash Games

In No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha games, ACR applies rake based on pot size with clear caps depending on table size. At lower and mid stakes, the effective rake is competitive, while higher stakes benefit from tightly capped limits.

StakesRake Per Pot2 Player Cap3 Player Cap4 Player Cap5–9 Player Cap
Up to $1/$2$0.01 per $0.20$0.50$1.00$2.00$3.00
$2/$4 – $4/$8$0.05 per $1$1.00$1.50$2.00$3.00
$5/$10+$0.25 per $5$1.25$1.75$2.25$3.00

At micro and low stakes, the capped structure protects players from excessive rake, while at mid and high stakes the low maximum caps make ACR one of the more cost-efficient US-facing networks for volume grinders.

Fixed Limit Cash Games

Fixed Limit games at ACR use a percentage-based rake with hard caps that decrease significantly at higher limits. This makes limit formats especially attractive for mass-volume grinders.

Stakes2 Players3–4 Players5+ Players
$0.02/$0.044.5% / $0.014.5% / $0.014.5% / $0.01
$0.10/$0.204.5% / $0.104.5% / $0.104.5% / $0.10
$0.50/$14.5% / $0.404.5% / $0.404.5% / $0.40
$1/$22% / $0.503% / $0.704% / $0.80
$10/$202% / $0.502.5% / $2.002.5% / $3.00
$20/$40+1% / $1.001% / $2.001% / $3.00

As stakes increase, both the percentage and absolute caps drop sharply, making higher-limit Fixed Limit games extremely efficient from a rake perspective.

Jackpot Poker Rake

Jackpot Poker games at ACR are charged at a flat 6% rake, regardless of buy-in size. This rake is taken from the prize pool contribution and also feeds into the Sit & Crush leaderboard, meaning part of that rake is returned to players via weekly races.

Tournament & Sit & Go Fees

Tournament fees on ACR generally range between 2% and 10% depending on the format and buy-in level:

  • Micro and low-stakes MTTs typically sit in the 8–10% range.
  • Mid-stakes tournaments usually fall into the 5–8% range.
  • High-stakes and flagship events run at lower, more competitive fee structures.

Major series events such as the Venom, Venom PKO, and other headline festivals consistently offer reduced relative fees compared to standard daily tournaments, which is one of the main reasons serious MTT grinders prefer ACR for high-volume schedules.

ACR Promo Code & Welcome Bonus

If you decide that Americas Cardroom is the right fit for your games, the best current offer is available through our exclusive promo code VIPELITE. New players receive a 100% bonus up to $2,000, and when your account is tracked through VIP-Grinders, you also unlock our private promotions:

Game Selection, Traffic & Tournament Schedule

Americas Cardroom is built for volume. As the flagship room of the Winning Poker Network, it consistently offers one of the deepest game selections available to US-facing players, supported by stable traffic across cash games, fast-fold formats, Sit & Gos, and a packed daily tournament schedule.

Rather than trying to be everything at once, ACR focuses on high-liquidity core formats that suit grinders who want to put in steady volume with predictable game availability.

acr poker table
ACR Poker table

Cash Games & Blitz Poker

Cash games on ACR run 24/7 across No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Fixed Limit formats. Traffic is strongest during North American peak hours, but mid-stakes and above remain active around the clock due to the network’s international player pool.

Blitz Poker is ACR’s fast-fold format and remains one of the most liquid US-facing fast-fold pools. It’s especially popular with high-volume grinders who want to generate consistent rake for Elite Benefits and The Beast without long waiting times between hands.

Sit & Gos & Jackpot Poker

ACR offers traditional Sit & Gos alongside its Jackpot Poker format. Jackpot Poker is particularly popular due to its rapid structure, randomized prize pools, and direct integration into the Sit & Crush leaderboard.

Because Sit & Gos, Jackpot Poker, and On-Demand tournaments all feed into Sit & Crush, these formats carry additional value for players who want to turn tournament fees into weekly leaderboard payouts on top of regular results.

MTT Schedule & Flagship Series

Tournament volume is one of ACR’s biggest strengths. The site runs a full daily MTT schedule at all buy-in levels, supported by regular major series and weekly flagship events. Core highlights include:

  • Venom and Venom PKO – ACR’s headline high-guarantee tournament series.
  • Sunday Moneymaker and Big Poker Thursdays – Weekly anchor events with consistently large fields.
  • MOSS (Micro Online Super Series) – High-volume festival for low-stakes grinders.

These events consistently attract large fields for a US-facing network, creating strong prize pools while still maintaining relatively soft average player fields compared to regulated European sites.

Software, Tools & Mobile App – Americas Cardroom Review

ACR Poker runs on a modern, stable client that is clearly built with grinders in mind. The software is fast, supports high-volume multi-tabling, and includes several quality-of-life features that make long sessions easier to manage on both desktop and mobile.

acr poker client software
ACR Poker client software

Desktop Client & Multi-tabling

The desktop client lets you open multiple tables and arrange them exactly how you like, with support for tiling, cascading and custom resizing. Table options such as preferred seating, bet sizing presets and hotkeys help you act quickly without excessive clicking, which is especially useful when you are playing cash games, MTTs and Jackpot Poker at the same time.

Stability is generally very good, even during large festival series, and the lobby filters make it easy to jump between cash tables, Blitz Poker, sit & gos and scheduled tournaments without wasting time scrolling.

Mobile App & In-Browser Play

On mobile, ACR offers a dedicated app for Android along with a mobile-optimised browser client that works smoothly on most modern iOS devices. The interface is simplified but still keeps the essentials visible: bet sliders, quick actions, time bank and clear hand history for the current table.

Mobile is particularly well suited for Blitz Poker and standard cash tables, but you can also register, late-reg and manage tournament stacks on the go. If you are a mixed-device grinder, you can start sessions on desktop and continue monitoring key tables from your phone without losing track of what is happening.

Key Features for Regulars & Grinders

  • Run It Twice – Available on many cash tables, letting players reduce variance by running the board multiple times when all-in.
  • Play It Safe/Insurance – Optional all-in insurance in certain spots, designed to smooth downswings for high-volume regulars.
  • Bomb Pots & special formats – Occasional Bomb Pot situations and other action-heavy features that increase average pot sizes and attract recreational players.
  • In-client staking & backing – Support for buying and selling action in select tournaments, making it easier to manage bankroll risk on big events.
  • Hand histories & HUD support – Downloadable hand histories and compatibility with major tracking tools allow you to review sessions and use HUDs where permitted.

Combined, these tools make ACR’s client one of the stronger options in the US-facing market for players who care about volume, table selection and post-session analysis, without sacrificing usability for casual players.

Banking, Crypto & Payout Speeds – ACR Poker Review

ACR Poker is built around fast, crypto-friendly banking. Players can deposit and withdraw using a wide range of methods, with Bitcoin, stablecoins and other cryptocurrencies offering the quickest cashouts and lowest fees. Traditional options like cards and e-wallets are also supported, but most regulars prefer crypto for both speed and higher limits.

In practice, crypto withdrawals are often processed within hours once your account is verified, while fiat methods can take longer depending on your bank or payment provider. There are no hidden payout fees from ACR’s side on most crypto cashouts, which makes it a solid choice for grinders who move funds frequently.

MethodTypeNotes
Bitcoin & other cryptoDeposit & WithdrawalFast processing, high limits, low to zero ACR fees.
Stablecoins (e.g. USDT)Deposit & WithdrawalGood for keeping a stable bankroll in USD-equivalent.
Credit / Debit CardsDepositConvenient for first deposits; availability depends on country and bank.
e-Wallets / VouchersDeposit & sometimes WithdrawalRegional options; terms and limits vary by provider.
Bank TransferWithdrawalSlower but suitable for larger cashouts in fiat.

Always check the Cashier inside the client for the latest supported poker payment methods, limits and any network fees that may apply to your preferred currency.

Security, Fairness & Legal Context

As the flagship room of the Winning Poker Network, ACR operates as an offshore online poker site serving a wide range of international markets, including many regions where locally regulated options are limited. That means it does not hold a local licence in every country it accepts, but instead operates under its network-level licensing framework.

On the technical side, ACR uses independently tested RNGs and standard online poker security tools to protect the games. Hand histories are fully exportable, seating and dealing are automated, and the network runs ongoing checks to detect bots, collusion and other prohibited behaviour. In higher-risk cases ACR may require KYC verification to confirm identity and secure both the account and payouts.

It’s important to understand the legal context: as an offshore US-facing room, ACR is not the same as a locally regulated site in tightly controlled markets. For many serious grinders, the trade-off is access to softer games, bigger guarantees and high rakeback value, but you should always make sure that playing on ACR complies with the laws and regulations of your own jurisdiction.

Pros & Cons of ACR Poker

  • Choice between simple 27% rakeback or Elite Benefits with up to ~60–65% effective rakeback for high-volume grinders.
  • One of the few major poker rooms consistently available to US players, with over 20 years of operating history on the US-facing market.
  • Extra value from The Beast, Sit & Crush and VIP-Grinders exclusives ($3,000 WPN VG Race, $2,000 Depositor Freeroll, monthly $250 ACR freerolls).
  • Strong tournament ecosystem with Venom, MOSS and big Sunday majors, plus good traffic for US-facing cash games.
  • Crypto-friendly banking with fast withdrawals and good limits for regular cashouts.
  • Elite Benefits only reaches top value at high, consistent volume; casual players won’t see the full 60–65%.
  • 27% flat rakeback is solid but not the absolute highest fixed deal available in the market.

Should You Play ACR via VIP-Grinders?

If you are a volume-focused grinder looking for a long-term main site, Americas Cardroom offers a strong combination of high effective rakeback, US-facing traffic and deep tournament schedules. The real value comes when you combine ACR’s own system with our deal.

  • Your choice of 27% fixed rakeback or the Elite Benefits VIP system with up to ~65% effective rakeback for high-volume players.

  • Exclusive VIP-Grinders promotions on top – the $3,000 WPN VG Race, the $2,000 Depositor Freeroll, and monthly $250 private ACR freerolls.

Over a full year, this layered structure is what allows serious regulars to push their real effective rakeback far above the base 27% and extract maximum value from their volume.

ACR Poker Review – FAQs

What is the best rakeback setup on ACR right now?

ACR gives you two core options: a simple 27% fixed rakeback deal, or the Elite Benefits VIP system, which can reach around 60–65% effective rakeback for true high-volume grinders. When you join via VIP-Grinders with the VIPELITE code, our exclusive VG Race, depositor freeroll and monthly freerolls sit on top of whichever option you choose, pushing the total value even higher.

Can I really get close to 60–65% rakeback on ACR?

Yes, but only if you generate serious, consistent volume. To approach the 60–65% range, you typically need to hold General or 5-Star General status, redeem CPs in high-value bundles, hit Medals/VIP Recognition milestones, and regularly score in The Beast, Sit & Crush and VIP-Grinders races over a full year.

Should I pick 27% fixed rakeback or Elite Benefits?

If your monthly rake is inconsistent or usually under roughly $1,500, the 27% fixed deal is often the smarter, low-maintenance option. If you’re a high-volume, year-round grinder who can realistically maintain higher Elite Benefits ranks and chase leaderboard value, the VIP system has the better ceiling and is the only path to that ~60–65% effective rakeback.

Do VIP-Grinders promotions really add extra rakeback?

They do, because all prizes are pure extra cash on top of your standard ACR rewards. Money you win in the $3,000 WPN VG Race, $2,000 Depositor Freeroll and monthly $250 private freerolls effectively reduces your net rake over time, lifting your true return above what ACR alone would provide.

Can I switch from 27% rakeback to Elite Benefits later?

You can’t run both systems at the same time, but in most cases you can request a one-time switch from 27% to Elite Benefits through ACR support. This is useful if you start on the flat deal and later decide your volume justifies grinding the full VIP ladder.

Is ACR a good main site for US and international grinders?

ACR is an offshore US-facing room with long operating history, big guarantees and strong rakeback potential, which makes it attractive for serious players who prioritise value and game selection. You should, however, always check that playing on ACR complies with local laws in your country, and be comfortable with the offshore licensing model described in the review.

ACR has been good to me so far. I play small stakes and find competition to be exploitable. Withdrawals are also fast and support was ok when I had some questions.

I would like to see more promos but its still a good site and I like to play there.
