BetKings matches your first deposit at 200%, up to a maximum bonus of $1,000. That means a $500 deposit reaches the full bonus and leaves you playing with $1,500. Minimum deposit is $10.
The bonus is not paid upfront. It releases in $1 increments, one dollar for every $5 you pay in net rake or tournament fees, which works out at a 20% return on rake while it clears.
You have 60 days to top up your deposits toward the maximum, and 90 days from the award to clear it. Anything unreleased at day 90 expires.

Depositing more than $500 adds nothing to the bonus. The ceiling is fixed at $1,000 regardless.
$100 in Rewards
The alternative pays $64.50 in free tickets credited automatically over your first six days, plus up to C$35.50 earned by hitting daily hand targets at All-In or Fold tables. Complete all six days and you get another C$10 on top. Minimum deposit is $20.

The tickets are the easy half. They land whether you play or not, and anything you win with them is real money.
The C$ half is harder than it looks. Day six asks for 1,000 hands of All-In or Fold in a single day for C$8, and days two and four want 500 each. Treat the $64.50 as what you are actually getting and the C$ as a bonus if you put the volume in.
What Counts as Net Rake
Both the bonus and your rakeback tier are calculated on net rake, not on the rake you see at the tables. The two are not the same number, and the gap catches people out.
Three things reduce it. Payment processing fees come off, tournament overlays reduce the rake credited for that event, and GGPoker applies its own weighting to how much of your rake counts.
- Overlays cut what you earn. If a guaranteed tournament fails to fill, the rake credited for it is reduced in line with the overlay
- Payment fees come off the top. Stated in the terms, with no figure published
- Your rake is weighted. GGPoker credits less rake to consistent winners than to recreational players, using a formula it does not publish
So the $5,000 figure for clearing the full $1,000 is a floor. A winning regular should expect to pay more than that, and there is no way to calculate how much in advance.
Worth knowing where to look, too. BetKings’ terms still tell you to track your progress through Fish Points, which stopped existing in January when Ocean Rewards replaced Fish Buffet. Tide Points is what the client shows now.
None of this makes the bonus a bad offer. It just means the $5,000 figure is the best case rather than the number to plan around.
Terms Worth Knowing Before You Deposit
None of these are unusual for the industry. They are just easier to hit than most players expect, and they sit in the small print rather than on the promotional page.
- Withdrawing cancels the rest. Any locked bonus cash and any tickets not yet awarded are invalidated when you cash out. The client warns you first, but it catches players who withdraw a win mid clear
- Tickets expire in 24 hours. They release daily at 07:00 UTC and are gone a day later, so the rewards option needs you to log in every day
- There is a gap on day three. Two days after activating, no tickets arrive. They resume the following morning and run until the package is complete
- Two clocks run at once. 60 days to top up deposits toward the maximum, 90 days from the award to clear the bonus
- One bonus per person, IP and device. All three limits apply, so two players in the same household can run into trouble claiming separately
- Your funds sit with GGPoker. Deposits, withdrawals, verification and any dispute are handled by the GGPoker entity under its terms, not by BetKings
The withdrawal clause is the one to watch. If you take the match, run your deposit up, and cash out before the bonus has fully released, whatever is still locked disappears.
