WPT Global has launched the WPT Asia Series Summer Overdrive, a 43-day online festival running from July 19 to August 30, 2026 with $30,000,000 in total guarantees. It is the room's second Asia Series of the year and by far its biggest.
Seven Sunday WPT Ring events build week by week to the $122 Grand Prix Main Event on August 30, which carries a $375,000 guarantee and $75,000 for first place. Daily phase flights start at just $8.
Three reward campaigns run alongside the schedule: Daily Mission Flip, a Weekly MTT Leaderboard and the WPT Ring Collect 3 bonus. Here is everything worth knowing before day one.
WPT Asia Series Summer Overdrive Schedule Overview
The series follows a simple weekly rhythm. Ring Phase flights run all week at low buy-ins, everything funnels into a Sunday WPT Ring feature, then the buy-ins and guarantees step up and the cycle repeats.
Opening days each pack in around 147 events, peaking at 175 on July 27, and ring Mystery satellites fire every couple of hours around the clock.
The numbers dwarf February's WPT Asia Series ring schedule, which carried $15 million in guarantees. Summer Overdrive doubles that figure over a longer run.

Seven Ring Sundays Climb to the $122 Grand Prix Main Event
Every Sunday at 13:05 CET brings a Gold Ring feature event. Buy-ins climb from $26 in week one to $122 for the closer, with guarantees rising from $150,000 to $375,000 along the way.

Anyone who wins one of these events collects a Gold WPT Ring, the same trophy line WPT Global introduced in February. The Rings also feed directly into the Collect 3 bonus covered below.

Ring Phases: $8 Daily Flights Into Sunday Finals
The Ring Phases are the budget route into the Sunday features. Day 1 flights run every couple of hours, all day, Monday through Sunday, with Day 2 finals playing out each Sunday. Six phases step the buy-in up week by week.

The value peaks at both ends. Week one puts an $8 flight into a $150,000 guarantee, while the final Full Throttle week offers a $450,000 pool for a $26 entry.
Bag more than one stack: re-entry is allowed until the end of each flight's late registration, and if you advance from multiple Day 1 flights, all of your surviving stacks are combined into a single stack for Day 2.
Three Reward Campaigns Stack on Top
Beyond the tournament schedule, three promotions pay out across the full 43 days. Each one rewards regular volume rather than a single big score.
Daily Mission Flip
Complete daily missions to earn Tickets, then spend 1 Ticket on an hourly Allin Flip flight. Every hand is an automatic all-in, so getting through is pure variance. Winners advance to a nightly Day 2 at 22:30 UTC+8, played as a normal tournament.
Tickets never expire and stack in your Backpack. The Day 1 into Day 2 structure mirrors the room's weekly Mystery Millions phase format, only with flips instead of poker on the front end.
- Deposit: up to 6 Tickets per day based on your net deposit for the day.
- MTT Registration: up to 8 Tickets per day, with a maximum of 2 counted entries per tournament.
- Early Bird: up to 4 Tickets per day for registering before a tournament's scheduled start.
- Poker GGR: up to 5 Tickets per day across cash games and tournaments.
- Casino / Sports Betting: up to 4 Tickets per day, replaced by a Spins mission with the same cap in some markets.
- Bubble Saver: 2 Tickets every time you bust as the bubble, with no daily cap and no minimum field size.
Standard missions pay up to 27 Tickets per day combined, with Bubble Saver unlimited on top.
Weekly MTT Leaderboard
Six weekly leaderboards run across the festival, with points for every entry and every deep run in eligible tournaments. Weeks 1 to 4 carry a ¥300,000 (~$41.5K) pool each, rising to ¥400,000 (~$55K) in weeks 5 and 6.
That adds up to ¥2,000,000 (~$277K) in added prize money. The board resets every week, so everyone starts level six times over.
WPT Ring Collect 3
Win three WPT Rings during the series and WPT Global pays a ¥3,000,000 (~$415K) bonus on top of your tournament winnings. Rings carry through the whole festival, so an early Ignition win keeps its value all the way to the Grand Prix.
