GGPoker has partnered with Grosvenor Casinos to sponsor more than 50 UK live poker festivals per year. The deal covers the GUKPT, The Goliath, the UK Open, the Behemoth, and all G200 and G300 events across the calendar.

GGPoker partners with Grosvenor Casinos to sponsor UK live poker events with cash boosts up to 20 percent

Players who qualify through GGPoker or buy in via their GGPoker account will receive cash boosts of up to 20% on their net winnings. The first eligible events kick off at GUKPT Luton on May 14.

This marks GGPoker’s first UK live poker sponsorship. Grosvenor Casinos operates more than 30 card rooms across the country and runs the GUKPT, now in its 20th season and the longest-running poker tour in the UK.

What the GGPoker Grosvenor Cash Boosts Look Like

The headline benefit is a direct cash boost on net winnings from eligible events. The percentage varies by event tier, and the eligibility rules are strict.

  • Goliath, G200, and G300 events: 20% cash boost on net winnings from the event.
  • GUKPT Main Events: 10% cash boost on net winnings.
  • Eligibility: players must win a satellite on GGPoker or buy in directly through their GGPoker account. Buying in at the venue or qualifying through Grosvenor Poker online does not qualify.
  • Example: Paul Worsley won £316,640 from the 2025 Goliath. A GGPoker qualifier with the same result would have pocketed an extra £63,328.

Angela Martin, GGPoker’s UK and Ireland Head of Marketing, said the partnership is about giving real value back to the live poker community. She pointed out that rewards are being scaled back across much of the gaming industry, and GGPoker wants to push in the opposite direction.

Sue Price, Grosvenor Casinos’ Director of Gaming, described the deal as a significant step for UK poker.

First Events With Cash Boosts

Satellites and direct buy-ins for the first eligible events are expected in the GGPoker lobby shortly. Here is what is on the calendar in the coming weeks.

The Goliath is the marquee event. The £200 buy-in tournament is the largest live poker event outside Las Vegas, and the 2026 edition carries an estimated £2 million prize pool.

GGPoker and Grosvenor Casinos announce a new partnership with Grosvenor-branded poker chips

Players looking to brush up on their satellite strategy before qualifying online should start now. GUKPT Luton is less than two weeks away.

How to qualify: Log in to your GGPoker account and check the tournament lobby for Grosvenor-branded satellites. You can also buy in directly to eligible events through your GGPoker account. Only GGPoker entries unlock the cash boost. Entries made at the venue or through Grosvenor Poker online are not eligible.

Why This Deal Matters for UK Poker

This partnership has the potential to reshape the UK live poker landscape. Here is why.

  • Goliath scale: 12,961 entries in 2025, making it the 16th-largest live poker tournament ever recorded. The 2026 edition carries an estimated £2 million prize pool.
  • Precedent: when PokerStars partnered with the Irish Open in 2023, entries jumped by 451 compared to the previous year. By 2026, the Irish Open Main Event attracted over 5,000 players.
  • Online-to-live bridge: GGPoker's satellite infrastructure gives recreational players a cheaper route into major UK events, with a built-in profit boost on top.
  • Grosvenor Poker online unaffected: satellites for live events continue on grosvenorpoker.com, but without the cash boost perks available to GGPoker qualifiers.

GGPoker has been on an aggressive expansion run in 2026. The room recently announced its $300M guaranteed GG World Festival, the largest online series ever scheduled. This Grosvenor deal extends that momentum into the live arena.

For UK players who grind online and play live events, the value stacks up. Qualify through GGPoker, travel to a Grosvenor venue, and receive a percentage boost on whatever you win. It is a clear incentive that rewards the online-to-live pipeline.

Players looking to take advantage should get set up on GGPoker before satellites open.
