GGPoker has announced the GG World Festival 2026, guaranteeing a record $300,000,000 across more than 1,600 events from May 3 to June 9. It is the largest guaranteed online poker series in history.

GGPoker GG World Festival 2026: $300M guaranteed across 1,600+ events from May 3 to June 9

The series features three separate $10M guaranteed flagship events, a $3M tiered leaderboard overlay, and buy-ins starting from just $3. Four parallel schedules run simultaneously, each with roughly 400 events organised by stake level.

Last year’s edition guaranteed $250M and paid out $324M. The year before that, a $250M guarantee produced $331M. GGPoker has over-delivered on this series every year since it launched, and the VIP-Grinders GGPoker deal stacks on top of any festival promotions for players who sign up through our link.

Why This $300M Guarantee Is Likely Worth More

This is where the real story sits. GGPoker’s headline guarantees have consistently underestimated the actual prize pools. Three years of data tell a clear story.

  • 2023 GG World Festival: $200M guaranteed, $239M paid out. Players collected $39M more than the floor.
  • 2024 GG World Festival: $250M guaranteed, $331M paid out. That is a 32% over-delivery across 1,600 events.
  • 2025 GG World Festival: $250M guaranteed, $324M paid out. The guarantee was beaten for the third consecutive year.
  • 2026 projection: if the historical trend holds, the $300M guarantee could produce $350M or more in actual prizes.

The pattern matters for bankroll planning. When guarantees get beaten consistently, it means larger fields, fatter prize pools, and better value per dollar invested. Players targeting the Low and Medium tiers are most likely to benefit, since those stakes attract the highest volume of recreational entries.

YearGuaranteeActual PayoutOver-Delivery
2023$200M$239M+19.5%
2024$250M$331M+32.4%
2025$250M$324M+29.6%
2026$300MTBDTBD

These over-delivery numbers matter more than the headline guarantee. Based on three years of results, you are almost certainly playing for more money than the schedule says.

GG World Festival 2026 Schedule by Buy-In Tier

GGPoker runs four parallel schedules, each with its own leaderboard prize pool. Every tier has roughly 400 events across the 38-day series.

  • Low Tier ($3 to $25): $25 Saturday Secret KO Mystery Bounty ($400K GTD), $15 Grand Prix Europe ($150K), $25 Sunday Main Event ($150K). Leaderboard: $300,000.
  • Medium Tier ($26 to $150): $150 GGMasters ($1M GTD weekly), $55 Bounty Hunters Sunday Main ($1M), $150 GGWF Mystery Closer ($5M GTD). Leaderboard: $700,000.
  • High Tier ($151 to $1,050): $1,050 GGMasters HR ($1M), $1,050 Thursday Throwdown Bounty ($600K), $1,500 Sunday Showdown Mystery Bounty ($600K). Leaderboard: $1,000,000.
  • Super Tier ($1,051+): $10,000 GGMillion$ High Rollers ($2M GTD weekly), $10,000 templates across multiple formats. Leaderboard: $1,000,000.

GGPoker GG World Festival 2026 four buy-in tiers showing buy-in ranges, number of events, average guarantees and leaderboard prizes for Low, Medium, High and Super tiers

The $3M leaderboard overlay is split across those four tiers, so even micro-stakes grinders are playing for a meaningful share of the side prizes. Opening Sunday on May 3 stacks the full weekly lineup across all four tiers simultaneously: GGMasters, Bounty Hunters Sunday Main, Sunday Main Event, Marathon, Grand Prix Europe, and more.

Three $10M Flagship Events Worth Targeting

Three events carry the biggest guarantees on the schedule. Each targets a different buy-in level and format.

  • $525 World Bounty Festival (Mystery Bounty): $10M GTD. Day 2 on May 18. The biggest mid-stakes Mystery Bounty event on the schedule.
  • $10,000 GGMillion$ Main Event: $10M GTD. Day 2 on May 25. The headline event of the series and the most expensive buy-in on the calendar.
  • $1,500 GG World Championship: $10M GTD. Day 2 on June 1. Functions as the closing flagship. A strong option for players priced out of the $10K Main.

The $525 World Bounty Festival is likely to draw the largest field of the three, given the accessible price point and the Mystery Bounty format’s popularity on GGPoker. The $10K Main Event is the prestige play. Satellite chains from the $3 Low Tier theoretically connect all the way up to the $10K level, though specific satellite structures are only visible inside the GGPoker client lobby.

A fourth event worth noting: the $150 GGWF Mystery Closer carries a $5M guarantee and runs on June 8 as the Medium-tier capstone. At $150 in, it offers one of the best guarantee-to-buy-in ratios on the entire schedule.

PLO, Mystery Bounty and Special Formats

Mystery Bounty is the dominant knockout format this year. Beyond the $525 World Bounty Festival ($10M) and the $150 Mystery Closer ($5M), the Saturday Secret KO runs at all four tiers weekly with guarantees between $400K and $600K.

PLO players get nightly action under the Omaholic umbrella at 18:30 UTC: Sunday Omaholic Bounty Main (up to $10K / $100K GTD at Super Tier), Tuesday Deepstack 7-Max, Thursday Bounty Hunters, Saturday Mystery Bounty, Friday 5-Card Turbo, and Wednesday 5-Card Heater Bounty. No dedicated eight-figure PLO flagship exists, but the volume of daily Omaholic events is stronger than any previous edition.

Special formats include Short Deck Bounty on Saturdays ($10/$100/$525), Rush & Cash “Golden Coast” sessions on Thursdays, hyper-turbos (Sunday Saver Hyper, Thursday Twister Hyper 5-Max), a Wednesday Phoenix Rising Rebuy, and stack-multiplier events like Tuesday Double Dragon 2-Stack and Wednesday Triple Threat 3-Stack.

How GG World Festival Connects to the Bounty Hunters Series

The GG World Festival does not run in isolation. It follows directly behind GGPoker’s $80M Bounty Hunters Series, which runs April 5 to 28 and wraps up five days before the World Festival begins.

  • Bounty Hunters Series: $80M guaranteed, April 5 to 28. Headline event is the $108 Mystery Bounty Main Event ($5M GTD, Day 2 April 27).
  • GG World Festival: $300M guaranteed, May 3 to June 9. Three $10M flagships anchor the calendar.
  • Combined spring total: $380M in guaranteed prizes across roughly 10 weeks. The largest back-to-back online poker schedule ever assembled.

That combined $380M spring calendar across roughly 10 weeks is worth framing properly. No online poker operator has ever stacked this much guaranteed action into a single spring window. Players rolling from the $80M Bounty Hunters Series in April into the World Festival in May can stay in continuous action from April 5 through June 9 without leaving the GGPoker client.

The two series are branded separately and have independent schedules, leaderboards, and Main Events. They are not an umbrella series.
