The Godfather of Poker Doyle Brunson has blocked Upswing Poker founder Doug Polk after he made fun of his religious tweet and due to his constant negativity.
Doyle Brunson blocks Doug Polk on Twitter after making fun of his religion

Doug Polk is a very controversial character. Either you love him or you hate him it seems there is nothing in between.

Many members, who belong to the second group, have blocked him on Social Media for constantly firing shots or needle them.

Brunson had enough after Polk made fun of the below religious Tweet as he is a professing Christian. His Twitter presence ran into his late 80s, as covered in our Doyle Brunson profile and net worth:

“Andddd we are blocked. Must have been a sensitive issue”

This was the straw that broke the camel's back as it lead to the blocking.

“Andddd we are blocked. Must have been a sensitive issue.”

Doug Polk is known for his Twitter feuds and very successful with them

Doug Polk is famous for his Twitter feuds and has been very successful with them as they not only led to the High Stakes Feud heads-up match against Daniel Negreanu, where Polk won $1,200,000:

But also to building one of the most popular Poker YouTube Channels around them by creating several videos about his numerous Twitter poker fights with Matt Berkey, Alec Torelli, Phil Galfond, Charlie Carrel, JohnnieVibes, Christian Soto, Mike Postle and Luke Schwartz.

As long as Doug Polk is making huge amounts of money and gaining a lot of publicity by firing shots at other poker players, it doesn’t make sense for him to stop.

That’s why it is very likely that many more will follow Doyle Brunson in blocking Doug Polk on Twitter or other Social Media channels.
