GGPoker Deposit Methods: How to Add Funds in 2026

GGPoker does not show every player the same cashier. What appears depends on which regulated site your account sits on, and GGPoker runs separate operations for the UK, Ontario, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Romania, Denmark and the EU alongside its global site. Each has its own regulator, its own currency and its own payment menu.

GGPoker deposit methods featured image showing cards, e-wallets, cryptocurrency and regional payment options including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller, LuxonPay, Bitcoin, Pix and iDEAL

The clearest example is PayPal, one of the most searched GGPoker payment questions and one of the least clearly answered. GGPoker supports it for UK players only, a restriction the operator states in its own payment documentation and almost no guide repeats.

This page covers the methods available, what each one costs, the minimum and maximum amounts, the limits you can set, and what to do when a deposit is declined. Where a method or a figure is region specific, we say which region.

We checked the figures below in the GGPoker cashier from a Malta account. Availability and minimums differ elsewhere, so we flag that wherever it applies rather than presenting one country’s cashier as universal.

For rakeback, bonuses and the full platform breakdown, see our GGPoker review.

How to Deposit Money into GGPoker?

Adding funds usually takes under a minute once your account exists. The steps are the same on desktop and mobile, though the method list differs by region.

  • 1Create a GGPoker account if you do not have one. You cannot reach the cashier until registration is complete.
  • 2Open the Cashier from the top right of the client or the app.
  • 3Select Deposit from the menu.
  • 4Choose a payment method from the list. What you see here is set by your registered country, not by preference.
  • 5Enter an amount. The cashier displays any fee on this screen before you confirm, so check it here rather than afterward.
  • 6Complete the payment through your chosen provider. Most methods credit within a minute.

Step four is where most of the confusion on this page starts. Two players opening the same screen in different countries will see different options, and neither list is wrong.

The fee appears at step five, on the amount screen, before anything is confirmed. It is worth reading there rather than working it out from your balance afterward.

Crypto deposits are the exception to the one minute rule. Those clear at the speed of the network rather than the cashier, so Bitcoin can take longer than a card while Solana or Tron settle in seconds.

Deposit Methods at GGPoker

GGPoker accepts cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, prepaid vouchers and cryptocurrency. Which of those you can actually use comes down to where your account is registered.

Visa and Mastercard are available on almost every cashier and carry no GGPoker fee, which makes them the default for most players. They are also the method most likely to be declined, because many banks block gambling transactions automatically.

The Malta cashier above shows seven methods. The table below covers the full set available across GGPoker’s sites, which is roughly twice that, and marks which regions each one reaches.

Nobody sees this entire list. It exists to show what is possible somewhere rather than what will appear when you open your own cashier.

Minimums are the figure most often reported wrongly for GGPoker, because they change with the site rather than staying fixed. The section below sets out what applies where.

What Is the Minimum Deposit at GGPoker?

There is no single answer, which is why published figures disagree. The minimum is set by the site your account sits on and by the method you choose.

GGPoker’s own documentation puts most global site methods at $10, and the Dutch site publishes a €5 minimum with €10 for iDEAL. Our Malta account runs in dollars, and the cashier does not display a minimum until you attempt a deposit below it. Region-locked methods such as Pix and Interac carry their own minimums shown at the point of deposit.

Maximums vary by method. The Malta cashier caps Skrill at $10,000 per transaction, while GGPoker publishes $50,000 as the ceiling on most others. Crypto minimums are set by the network rather than by GGPoker, so a Tron transfer can be smaller than a Bitcoin one.

Worth knowing separately: the welcome offer has its own qualifying deposit of $20, which is higher than the minimum needed simply to fund an account.

Why Your Deposit Options Look Different

GGPoker is not one site with one cashier. It holds separate licences in multiple jurisdictions, and each one runs its own payment stack under its own regulator.

BrazilPlays on the global siteBRL via PixPix supported, crypto banned by law

Brazil sits in the table for a different reason. There is no separate Brazilian GGPoker site, so players join the global pool, but Pix was added as a local rail and cryptocurrency is prohibited for licensed operators under Brazilian law.

This is why two players comparing screenshots can both be right. A Dutch player will find iDEAL and no crypto option, while someone on the global site sees four cryptocurrencies and no iDEAL at all.

It also explains why so much published information about GGPoker payments contradicts itself. Most guides describe one cashier without saying which.

Does GGPoker Accept PayPal?

Only in the United Kingdom. GGPoker states in its own payment documentation that PayPal is supported for UK players only, and it appears on no other regional cashier.

That answer is worth stating plainly because most guides do not. Some list PayPal among GGPoker’s methods without any qualification, which leaves players outside the UK looking for an option that was never there.

The restriction is not arbitrary. PayPal only works with gambling operators in jurisdictions where it has approved them, and its own merchant policy requires operators to demonstrate they can block access from prohibited territories.

If you are outside the UK and want an e-wallet, LuxonPay and MiFinity carry no deposit fee, while Skrill and Neteller both cost 3%.

Apple Pay Deposits at GGPoker

Apple Pay works for both deposits and withdrawals through the iOS app. Withdrawal support was added on 11 February 2026, which completed the cycle and made it one of the few methods you can use in both directions.

Deposits are confirmed with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode from inside the app’s cashier rather than through a browser. Withdrawals need a Visa or Mastercard debit card linked to your Apple Pay wallet and take one to three business days.

One condition applies that catches people out. You can only withdraw through Apple Pay if you deposited that way first, which is the same closed loop rule GGPoker applies across every method.

Google Pay is a different case. GGPoker does not name it in any of its published payment documentation, so we are not listing it as available until it appears in a cashier we can see.

Cryptocurrency Deposits at GGPoker

The global site accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC, with USDT and USDC available across several networks. Crypto carries no GGPoker deposit fee, so the only cost is the network fee your wallet charges.

Speed depends entirely on which chain you use. Tron and Solana transfers usually settle in under a minute, while Bitcoin needs a confirmation and can take up to half an hour.

Check the network before sending. USDT exists on Ethereum, Tron, BNB Chain and Polygon, and sending on a network the receiving address does not support means the funds are unrecoverable. Match the network shown in the GGPoker cashier to the one your wallet is sending from.

Crypto is the biggest regional gap on the page. It is available on the global site, absent from the regulated EU cashiers including Germany and the Netherlands, outside Ontario’s approved methods, and prohibited by law for licensed operators in Brazil.

The United Kingdom is the exception among regulated markets, where GGPoker has offered crypto alongside PayPal.

Paysafecard Deposits at GGPoker

Paysafecard is a prepaid voucher bought with cash at a shop, kiosk or petrol station. You enter the 16 digit code in the cashier and the value credits to your account.

Its appeal is that nothing links back to a bank account or a card, which suits players who would rather keep gambling spending separate from their main statement. It also cannot be overspent, since the voucher is worth what you paid for it.

Two limitations apply. It is a deposit method only, so withdrawals must go somewhere else, and availability is limited to selected countries rather than everywhere GGPoker operates. It is confirmed on the Dutch cashier.

Region Specific Payment Methods

Several methods exist only for players registered in one country or region. These are the ones most often listed as universally available when they are not.

  • Pix: Brazil only. Instant bank transfer through Brazil's national payment system.
  • iDEAL: Netherlands only. The standard Dutch bank transfer method, available on the Kansspelautoriteit licensed site.
  • Interac e-Transfer: Ontario only. The primary and fastest method on the Canadian cashier.
  • AstroPay: Concentrated in Latin American markets.
  • Paysafecard: Selected countries only, covered in the section above.

One method that no longer exists is worth flagging. EcoPayz rebranded to Payz in 2023, so any guide still listing both as separate options is describing a payment method that was retired three years ago.

GGPoker Deposit Fees

Most GGPoker deposit methods are free. Two are not, and they happen to be among the most widely used e-wallets in poker.

The 3% on Skrill and Neteller is charged by GGPoker rather than by the wallet, and it is displayed on the amount screen before you confirm. A player depositing $200 a month through Skrill pays $72 a year for the convenience.

Switching to LuxonPay or MiFinity removes that entirely. Both settle just as quickly and neither adds anything to the amount you enter.

Withdrawals carry a separate flat fee of $1, covered in full in our GGPoker withdrawal guide.

Currency Conversion

GGPoker accounts are held in a single currency, and depositing in a different one triggers a conversion charge of roughly 2% to 3%.

This catches players whose account currency does not match their bank. A euro card funding a dollar account pays the conversion on every deposit, which quietly costs more than the 3% e-wallet fee everyone worries about.

GGPoker Deposit Limits

GGPoker lets you cap your own deposits before you need to, and the tool sits in the cashier rather than buried in account settings. The screen labels the periods by length rather than by day, week and month.

  • 24 Hours: resets a day after the limit is reached
  • 7 Days: rolling seven day cap
  • 30 Days: rolling thirty day cap

Open the Cashier and look for Set Deposit Limits, which also shows whatever limit is currently active on your account. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately, while raising one is deliberately slower.

There is also a ceiling you cannot set above. On our account the maximum was $16,999 across all three periods, so a player wanting a higher limit than that has no way to raise it in the cashier.

Deposit limits are set for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, with a ceiling of 16,999 dollars.

Default Limits on Regulated Sites

Some regulated markets apply a starting limit whether you set one or not. On the UK site, new players cannot exceed $750 daily, $1,250 weekly and $2,000 monthly, and some accounts start lower at $500, $750 and $1,000.

That is a licence condition rather than a GGPoker policy, which is why it applies in the UK and not on the global cashier. Other regulated markets set their own.

Account Verification for Deposit at GGPoker – KYC Required?

Not immediately. You can deposit and play before verifying, but the requirement arrives sooner than most guides suggest.

GGPoker’s terms state that identification and proof of address must be provided before you reach $2,000 in deposits or $2,000 in withdrawals. Sites operating in euros express the same threshold as €2,000. Failing to complete it can result in the account being suspended.

The distinction matters. This is not a net figure and it is not deposits alone, so a player who deposits $1,200 and withdraws $900 has passed the threshold on the withdrawal side.

Several guides describe this as $2,000 in total net deposits. That is not what the terms say. The threshold applies to deposits or withdrawals, counted separately, and GGPoker reserves the right to request verification earlier than either figure.

Two documents are required.

  • Proof of identity: passport, national identity card or driving licence
  • Proof of address: bank statement, utility bill or government correspondence

Submit them through the client or by email to kyc@ggpoker.com. Most accounts are verified within 24 hours.

Doing it at registration rather than waiting is worth the ten minutes. Verification is also required before your first withdrawal, so clearing it early removes the delay at the point you actually want your money.

Why a GGPoker Deposit Fails

Declined deposits are common and almost never a problem with your account. In most cases the block comes from your bank rather than from GGPoker.

Your Bank Blocked the Transaction

This is the most frequent cause. Many card issuers decline gambling transactions by default, and some do it without notifying you at all.

Call your bank and ask them to authorize it, or use a method that does not route through card networks. E-wallets and cryptocurrency both bypass the issue entirely.

Do Not Honor

This error comes from your card issuer, not from GGPoker. It means the bank has declined the transaction based on its own rules for that card, and GGPoker cannot override it.

There is no workaround inside the cashier. Contact your issuer, or select a different payment method from the options available in your region.

3D Secure Did Not Complete

Two things usually cause this. A pop-up blocker preventing the verification window from opening, or the one time code not reaching the phone number registered against your card.

Disable the pop-up blocker for the GGPoker site and confirm your bank has your current mobile number.

The Money Left Your Account but Did Not Arrive

Check the transaction on a block explorer first if you sent cryptocurrency, since an unconfirmed transfer has not failed, it is simply still pending. Confirm you used the same network shown in the cashier.

For everything else, email cashier@ggpoker.com with the amount, the date, the payment method, and screenshots of both the transaction in your wallet and your GGPoker cashier history.

Expect 24 to 48 hours for a response on an uncredited deposit, and longer over a weekend. Sending the screenshots in the first email rather than waiting to be asked for them is the difference between one reply and three.

One thing worth ruling out before contacting anyone. Deposits also fail when the amount falls under the minimum for that method or above the limit you set yourself, and neither always produces a clear error message.

GGPoker Deposit FAQs

Does GGPoker accept PayPal?

Only in the United Kingdom. GGPoker states in its own payment documentation that PayPal is supported for UK players only, and it does not appear on the global cashier or on any other regional site. Players elsewhere can use LuxonPay or MiFinity, both of which are fee free, or Skrill and Neteller at a 3% deposit fee.

What is the minimum deposit on GGPoker?

It depends on the site your account sits on. Most methods on the global site start at $10, while the Dutch site publishes a €5 minimum and requires €10 for iDEAL. The welcome offer has a separate qualifying deposit of $20, which is higher than the amount needed simply to fund an account.

Can I deposit with Apple Pay on GGPoker?

Yes, through the iOS app rather than a browser. Deposits are confirmed with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode from inside the cashier, and Apple Pay withdrawals were added on 11 February 2026. You can only withdraw through Apple Pay if you deposited that way first.

Does GGPoker charge deposit fees?

Skrill and Neteller carry a 3% deposit fee charged by GGPoker. Every other method is free, including cards, Apple Pay, LuxonPay, MiFinity and Payz. Cryptocurrency deposits carry no GGPoker fee, though your wallet pays the network fee. Depositing in a currency different from your account currency adds a conversion charge of roughly 2% to 3%.

Why did my GGPoker deposit fail?

The most common cause is your bank blocking the transaction, since many card issuers decline gambling payments automatically. A Do Not Honor error also comes from the issuer rather than from GGPoker and cannot be overridden in the cashier. Other causes include a pop up blocker preventing 3D Secure from completing, or an amount that falls below the method minimum or above a limit you set yourself.

Can I deposit with Bitcoin at GGPoker?

Yes on the global site, which accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC. Crypto is not available on the regulated EU cashiers including Germany and the Netherlands, sits outside Ontario’s approved methods, and is prohibited by law for licensed operators in Brazil. Check the network shown in the cashier matches the one your wallet is sending from, since a mismatch makes the funds unrecoverable.
