WSOP Express is GGPoker’s official satellite ladder to the 2026 World Series of Poker. The system runs from $0.50 to a $10,000 Bracelet Pass covering Main Event entry, and GGPoker is targeting over 1,000 Main Event seats through the ladder this summer. The WSOP kicks off May 26 at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, and the Express ladder is running now.

GGPoker WSOP Express four-step satellite ladder from $0.50 to a $10,000 WSOP Bracelet Pass

Unlike previous years where multiple qualification paths ran in parallel, WSOP Express is now the primary route for international players. The four-step format blends All-In or Fold, Spin & Gold, Target Stack, and regular MTT formats into a single ladder. Free entry is available daily through Step 0 login tickets, and cash game players can earn their way in without spending a cent on satellites.

This guide breaks down every step of the ladder: format, buy-in, what you win, and where to focus your volume. Whether you are grinding from Step 0 on a micro bankroll or buying directly into Step 4 at $150, the goal is the same: a seat at the biggest tournament in poker at a fraction of the price.

How WSOP Express Works

WSOP Express is a four-step satellite ladder. Each step uses a different poker format, and each one feeds into the next. Win the final step and you walk away with a pass to a live WSOP event worth up to $30,000.

You can enter at any step. Start at $0.50 and work through all four, or skip ahead by buying directly into Step 3 ($10) or Step 4 ($150). There is also a Premium Bypass route: a weekly $1,000 Bracelet Step and a $2,500 Super Step for players who want to skip the ladder entirely.

Step 1: $0.50 All-In or Fold

Buy-inFormatChipsPrize
$0.50 or TicketAll-In or Fold, 4-Max3 stacks of 80Step 2 Ticket

Four players. You are all-in every hand. The N-Stack format gives each player three separate stacks of 80 chips.

Lose your first stack and the second activates automatically, then the third. This is the highest-variance step on the ladder, and that is the point. GGPoker designed Step 1 to be fast and accessible, not to test skill.

  • Pure luck: you are all-in every hand with no decisions to make. Treat each entry as a low-cost lottery ticket and fire as many as your bankroll allows.
  • N-Stack management: use your first stack to see how opponents play. If you lose it early, your second and third stacks activate while blinds are still small enough to matter.
  • Free Step 0 tickets: log in to GGPoker daily and check the WSOP Express lobby. A free Step 0 ticket is credited to all verified accounts. Complete the Avatar Race (roughly 1-in-3 odds) to win a Step 1 entry without spending anything.

Step 2: $2 Spin & Gold

Buy-inFormatChipsPrize
$2 or TicketSpin & Gold, 6-Max300Step 3 Ticket or Super Pass

Six players. A multiplier wheel spins before the game starts and determines the prize pool. Most of the time you are playing for a Step 3 ticket, but the wheel can land on higher multipliers.

The possible outcomes range from a repeat Step 2 ticket at the low end to a $30,000 Super Pass at the top. Ring Passes and Bracelet Passes can also drop from the wheel, though both are rare.

  • Tight early, aggressive late: standard Spin & Go strategy applies. Protect your stack in the first few levels, then widen your shoving ranges as blinds increase.
  • Ignore the wheel result: whether you are playing for a Step 3 ticket or a $30,000 Super Pass, the correct strategy is the same. Focus on making the best decisions, not the prize.
  • Winner takes all: there is no deal-making in Spin & Gold. Second place gets nothing. Play to win, not to survive.

Step 2 is the only level where you can skip the entire ladder in a single game. If the wheel lands on the top multiplier, you win a $30,000 Super Pass without needing to play Steps 3 or 4.

Step 3: $10 On-Demand Target Stack

Buy-inFormatChipsTarget
$10 or TicketTarget Stack Turbo, 10 players3,00050,000 to win

This is the skill gate. You start with 3,000 chips and need to reach 50,000 to win a Step 4 ticket. You are not competing against other players for a fixed number of seats.

Anyone who hits the chip target wins. When a player reaches 50,000, their excess chips are removed and redistributed equally to the remaining players. This means the game gets progressively easier for everyone still at the table as seats are won.

  • Play it like a cash game: accumulating chips matters more than survival. Every chip you win moves you closer to the 50,000 target. Look for favourable spots to get your stack in the middle early.
  • Stack early: you need roughly four double-ups to get from 3,000 to 50,000. The turbo blind structure shrinks your stack fast, so look for spots to get chips in the middle while blinds are still low relative to stacks.
  • Chip redistribution works in your favour: as other players hit 50,000 and leave the table, their excess chips boost your stack. The later you qualify, the fewer opponents remain and the more free chips you receive.

Step 4: $150 MTT with Mega Guarantees

Buy-inFormatChipsPrize
$150 or TicketRegular MTT12,500$500K+ GTD (50+ Bracelet Passes)

Standard multi-table tournament format. This is where satellite strategy matters most. Top finishers win a $10,000 Bracelet Pass, a $30,000 Super Pass, or a $5,000 Ring Pass.

You also have a choice of where to use your Step 4 ticket. The standard $150 EXPRESS MTT awards Bracelet Passes with $1M guaranteed prize pools.

The weekly $1,000 Bracelet Step gives roughly 1 in 10 players a $10,000 pass. The $2,500 Super Step gives roughly 1 in 13 a $30,000 Super Pass. Players who have studied a satellite tournament strategy guide will have a meaningful edge at this stage.

  • ICM is everything: flat payouts mean survival matters more than chip accumulation near the bubble. Tighten your ranges, avoid marginal spots, and let shorter stacks bust into each other.
  • Choose your path: a Step 4 ticket can be used in the standard $150 MTT (awarding Bracelet Passes), the weekly $1,000 Bracelet Step (1 in 10 win a $10,000 pass), or the $2,500 Super Step (1 in 13 win a $30,000 Super Pass).
  • Late June is peak value: GGPoker increases seat guarantees as the Main Event approaches. The $150 tournaments in late June and early July award the most passes per field.

Free Entry Points

You do not have to spend anything to start the WSOP Express ladder. GGPoker offers multiple free entry routes for both new and existing players.

  • Step 0 daily login ticket: open the GGPoker client and check the WSOP Express lobby. A free ticket is credited daily to all verified accounts. Complete the Avatar Race (roughly 1-in-3 odds) to win a Step 1 entry.
  • 100 cash game hands = free Step 1 ticket ($0.50 value). Any format counts: Hold'em, PLO, PLO-5, PLO-6, Short Deck, AoF Hold'em, AoF Omaha, Rush & Cash Hold'em, or Rush & Cash PLO.
  • 300 cash game hands = free Step 2 ticket ($2 value). New players during the promotion period receive double rewards.

For cash game regulars already putting in volume on GGPoker, the milestone tickets are free shots at the ladder. The 100-hand threshold is reachable in about an hour at a single six-max table, or much faster on Rush & Cash.

WSOP Express Bracelet Pass prize showing $10,000 Main Event entry with Platinum Lounge access and hotel package

What Do You Win?

WSOP Express awards three types of pass. Which one you receive depends on the Step 4 tournament you enter and where you finish.

$5,000 Ring Pass

Entry to a WSOP Super Circuit live event plus expenses. As of May 2026, the Ring Pass covers the WSOP Super Circuit at Playground in Kahnawake (Montreal), Canada, running August 26 to September 9, 2026. Passes become redeemable from July 26.

This is the entry-level pass, awarded through lower Step 4 finishes and through some wheel outcomes at Step 2.

$10,000 Bracelet Pass

The Bracelet Pass is the main prize most players are chasing. Here is what is included:

  • $10,000 WSOP Vegas Main Event buy-in or entry to any other $10,000 bracelet event. Main Event dates: June 27 to July 16, 2026 at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
  • Caesars hotel discount code for partner properties. Hotel must be selected on redemption.
  • Exclusive Plus Lounge privileges (invite-only) at Horseshoe Las Vegas for the duration of the series.
  • Platinum Discord community membership with other WSOP Express qualifiers and GGPoker support.
  • Limited-edition GGPoker x WSOP merchandise.
  • $10,000 Last Longer competition exclusive to WSOP Express qualifiers.

The pass is non-transferable, non-refundable, and expires 365 days from the date it is issued. It does not include a cash stipend or flights, so budget for travel separately.

$30,000 Super Pass

Covers the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event entry, accommodation, and expenses. The 2026 Paradise event runs December 4 to 18 at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. Passes become redeemable from September 1.

Available as the top prize on the Step 2 wheel and as an award in the $2,500 Super Step tournament.

When to Play

Timing matters. Step 4 qualifiers run multiple times per week, and GGPoker adds extra seat guarantees as the Main Event approaches. The highest-value grind window is late June through early July.

The Main Event fires on July 2. If you want a seat, work backwards from that date and give yourself enough attempts to clear Step 4 at least once.

  • Micro bankroll ($50 to $200): start at Step 0 or Step 1 and grind 4 to 6 weeks before the Main Event. Volume matters more than any single result at the lower steps.
  • Mid bankroll: enter at Step 3 ($10) to skip the high-variance early steps. Fewer sessions needed, and skill becomes the main factor from this point.
  • Direct entry: buy into Step 4 at $150 for the fastest route. One tournament, ICM-heavy satellite play near the bubble. Best EV if your time is limited.

WSOP Express vs Other Qualification Routes

WSOP Express is the only official international online path to the WSOP. No other online platform can use WSOP branding in its satellites. ACR Poker runs its own qualification events for US-eligible players, but those packages are marketed as “Las Vegas tournament entries” rather than official WSOP seats.

WSOP Online operates satellites in regulated US states (Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania) but is not available internationally. Live satellites at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas require being physically present in Las Vegas during the series.

For players outside the United States, WSOP Express is the default and most direct choice. GGPoker also offers a $1,000,000 bonus to any Express qualifier who wins the Main Event. A full guide to qualifying for the 2026 WSOP covers all available routes including ACR, WSOP Online, and live options.
