Mikhail “Minthon” Yakovlev Wins Saturday Secret KO HR for $55,326.09

Minthon is a GGPoker ambassador and on Saturday he showed why by taking down the WSOPC High Rollers: $1,050 Saturday Secret KO HR for $55,326.09.

Minthon, whose real name is Mikhail Yakovlev beat a sizeable field consisting of 244 players to secure the $24,306.90 first place prize plus a whopping $31,020 in bounties.

Other notables on the final table included Martin Pineiro, Tomaso Baldaso and Oshri Lahmani.

The Titans Event is the most prestigious while most expensive weekly online tournament at PokerStars as it has a large $5,200 buy-in.

Last night 60 players registered, which was not quite enough to cover the huge $300K Guarantee and there was a small overlay.

The tournament ended with a deal between high stakes regulars Rodrigo Seiji aka Seijistar and Bulgarian poker legend Dimitar “KuuL” Danchev.

When the two reached heads-up play, they quickly agreed to chop the remaining prize pool according to ICM, which secured Rodrigo Seiji the trophy and largest payday worth $82,083.46, while Dimitar Danchev took home $78,309.53.

A total of seven places were paid and other notables that made the money were the Number 2 ranked online player in the world Leonard “Grozzorg” Maue and Alex “Pwndidi” Theologis.
