Poker Rakeback Calculator
Use this rakeback calculator to see how much rake you pay and how much of it your deal gives back. Pick cash games, Spin & Go or tournaments, enter your stakes, volume and rakeback percentage, and you get the amounts per month and per year. It also works as a poker rake calculator, with your rake in dollars and in big blinds per 100 hands.
Rake is an estimate for an average player at a full 6-max table. Enter the rake you paid for the exact figure.
Most rooms pay rakeback on the fee part of each buy-in. Check your room's terms for games that count at a lower rate.
How to Use the Rakeback Calculator
Press Calculate to see your result. After that it updates as you change any number, and the link under the results saves your numbers so you can share them.
- 1Cash games, Spin & Go or Tournaments: pick what you play. Each one has its own fields.
- 2Game and stakes: Hold'em 6-max, Hold'em fast fold (Rush & Cash, Zoom) or PLO 6-max, and the blinds you play.
- 3Volume: your hands per month, which your tracker shows. For tournaments, enter your average buy-in with the fee included and how many you play each month.
- 4Your rakeback: the share of your rake you get back after all rewards, at the level you actually reach each month.
- 5Make it exact (optional): once your result shows, add the rake you paid last month, your win rate or ROI and your hours. For tournaments you can also change the fee, which is 7% for Spin & Go and 9.1% for tournaments unless you enter your own.
What Your Results Mean
The headline shows what your deal pays each month, and the cards under it break the numbers down.
| Result | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Rakeback per month and per year | What your deal returns at your volume, in the headline and the line under it. |
| Every extra 10% | What a better deal is worth, so you can compare two offers. |
| Rake per 100 hands | Your rake in big blinds per 100 hands: our estimate for an average player at your stake, or worked out from the rake you entered. |
| Rake per month | What you pay in rake each month and each year. |
| Win rate or ROI with rakeback | Your result once rakeback is added, for example 2.4 bb/100 more at 30% of 8 bb/100. |
| Rake after rakeback | What rake still costs you after the deal pays. |
| Rakeback per hour | Shown once you enter the hours you play each month. |

How Much Rake You Pay at Each Stake
These are the calculator’s estimates for an average player at a full 6-max table, at a room taking 5% with the cap shown. Rake falls in big blinds as you move up, because the cap stops the room taking more from big pots, but it still rises in dollars.
| Stakes | Typical cap | Hold’em 6-max (bb/100) | Fast fold (bb/100) | PLO 6-max (bb/100) | Hold’em rake per 10,000 hands |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NL2 ($0.01/$0.02) | $0.50 | 9.3 | 5.8 | 14.8 | $18.51 |
| NL5 ($0.02/$0.05) | $1 | 9.2 | 5.7 | 14.6 | $45.76 |
| NL10 ($0.05/$0.10) | $1.50 | 9.0 | 5.7 | 14.1 | $89.79 |
| NL25 ($0.10/$0.25) | $2 | 8.4 | 5.4 | 12.8 | $210 |
| NL50 ($0.25/$0.50) | $3 | 8.0 | 5.2 | 12.0 | $401 |
| NL100 ($0.50/$1) | $3.50 | 7.1 | 4.7 | 10.2 | $713 |
| NL200 ($1/$2) | $4 | 6.0 | 4.1 | 8.2 | $1,199 |
| NL500 ($2.50/$5) | $4 | 4.0 | 2.9 | 5.0 | $1,988 |
| NL1000 ($5/$10) | $5 | 3.0 | 2.2 | 3.6 | $3,021 |
Micro stakes cost the most in big blinds: at NL10 rake takes about 9 bb/100, more than many winning players make at the table. Our guide on how poker rake works explains caps, no flop no drop and the different ways rooms share rake between players.
Rooms set different caps, so your own rake can be higher or lower than these figures. Playing on GGPoker or CoinPoker? Our GGPoker rakeback review and CoinPoker rakeback review include calculators built on each room’s own rewards.
Worked Example: Is a 40% Deal Worth the Switch?
You play 40,000 hands a month of NL50 Hold’em 6-max at a typical room, and you are choosing between a 25% deal and a 40% deal.
- Rake: about $1,604 a month, or 8.0 bb/100.
- 25% deal: $401 a month, which adds 2.0 bb/100 to your win rate.
- 40% deal: $641 a month, which adds 3.2 bb/100.
- The difference: $241 a month, or $2,886 a year, for the same hands.
At a room with a $4 cap instead of $3, the same volume costs about $1,679 a month in rake, so every point of rakeback is worth more. Our guide on how rakeback changes your poker strategy shows what the extra money means for your bankroll and game choice. When you know what your volume is worth, compare our rakeback deals.
How the Rakeback Calculator Works
Every figure comes from your inputs, with no rounding until the final display.
| Figure | How it is worked out |
|---|---|
| Rake per month, cash games | rake per 100 hands × hands per month ÷ 100 × big blind |
| Rake per 100 hands | a typical room’s 5% rake on every pot that sees a flop, up to the cap, shared by the 6 players at the table, or the rake you entered spread over your hands |
| Fees per month, tournaments | average buy-in × fee % × tournaments per month |
| Rakeback | rake or fees × your rakeback % |
| Win rate with rakeback | win rate + rake per 100 hands × rakeback % |
| ROI with rakeback | ROI + fee % × rakeback % |
How We Estimate Rake
Rake depends on pot sizes, because the cap stops the room taking more from big pots. We built a pot size model that matches the rake an average player pays at NL50 in Primedope’s 2026 rake comparison, which used several million real hands, to within 0.1 bb/100 for every rake and cap it was checked against. Fast fold uses pots 25% smaller with fewer flops, and PLO pots 60% bigger, the same scaling that comparison uses.
Your own rake can be lower or higher than the average. Rooms that share rake by what each player puts in the pot charge tight players less and loose players more, so enter the rake you actually paid for an exact figure.
How We Tested the Calculator
Before publishing, we checked the calculator in three ways.
- Every output: 300 random sets of inputs across cash games, Spin & Go and tournaments matched a separate implementation to the cent.
- Rake per 100 hands: the formula the calculator uses matched a slower step by step calculation of the same pot model.
- Use on any page: 39 interaction tests passed on a normal page and on a test page built to break calculators, and the layout fits screens from 320 px wide.
Rakeback Calculator FAQ
How is rakeback calculated?
Rakeback is a share of the rake you pay, so multiply your rake by your rakeback percentage. At NL50 with 25,000 hands a month you pay about $1,002 in rake, and a 30% deal returns about $301. In tournaments the rake is the fee inside each buy-in, so 30% rakeback on a $10 Spin with a 7% fee returns $0.21 per Spin.
What is a good rakeback percentage?
A room’s standard rewards usually return between 10% and 30% of your rake. Deals of 40% or more are strong, and they often depend on your monthly volume or on signing up through a rakeback partner. The calculator shows what each extra 10% is worth at your volume.
Why is fast fold rake lower per 100 hands?
Fast fold players fold more hands before the flop, so fewer of their hands reach a raked pot: about 5.2 bb/100 at NL50, against 8.0 bb/100 at a normal 6-max table. You play many more hands an hour, though, so the rake you pay and the rakeback you earn per hour are usually higher.
Does this calculator work for casino rakeback?
No. Casino rakeback pays back a share of the house edge on what you wager, not a share of poker rake. Our guide to crypto casino rakeback has a calculator for that.
