The event is a companion to the live Battle of Malta series which takes place later in the year from October 28 to November 5.
The online events will run from July 13 to 27 with ACR Poker also scheduling satellites for the live series.
The Battle of Malta is a hugely popular live poker series, as proven by the €2 million guarantee getting smashed last year when €4.7 million in prize money was up for grabs.
Now, it is hoped that a traditionally European set up can increase its status by pulling in an American audience. Last October saw participants from over 60 countries battling on the Mediterranean island.
