VIP Grinders can reveal that the title of The Best Nude Beach in the US belongs to Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur, California. This Cali beach is the world’s only purple beach, caused by the erosion of the cliffs overhanging the beach, which contains manganese garnet rock, causing the sand to have a mystical purple hue. The unofficial nudist beach is one of California’s most popular and scores 8.08 out of 10 with a toasty average temperature of 61°F during summer, 47.5K Instagram hashtags, 10K Google searches per month, and an impressive Tripadvisor score of 4.6.
Landing in joint second place with 7.91 out of 10, Baker Beach in San Francisco, California, is one of the most famous nude beaches in the Bay Area. Boasting incredible views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, with the North end favored by bare beach goers. Whilst the waters can get choppy, the beach is very popular, boasting 144K Instagram hashtags, 12K Google searches per month, and a 4.5 out of 5 TripAdvisor score.
Also coming in second place, Haulover Beach in Miami, Florida, scores 7.91 out of 10. Miami’s only official clothing-optional public beach amasses roughly 7,000 visitors each day. The northern end of the beach is popular with nude beach visitors, spread over the white sands. Florida’s balmy weather is perfect for embracing nude beaches with an average of 84°F during the summer months. However, this beach misses out on first place due to its rainy summer season, where it averages 233mm of rain per month. With 59.7K Instagram tags and 35K monthly Google searches, this beach is one of the US’s most famous.
Rounding up the top five are Apollo Beach in Hillsborough County, Florida, scoring 7.75 out of 10, Little Beach in Maui, Hawaii (7.69/10), and Black’s Beach in La Jolla, California (7.69/10).
