Chris Vaughan
Poker Journalist (Contributing Writer)
Chris Vaughan is an iGaming industry veteran who has been working in online poker and casino since 2005. He contributed poker news, strategy guides, player features, and historical pieces to VIP-Grinders, bringing nearly two decades of operator and editorial experience to every article.
Chris’s career spans some of the biggest names in the UK and European gambling industry. He worked as a Senior Content Supervisor at William Hill, where he spent close to four years overseeing content operations. Before that, he held roles at 32Red, Ladbrokes, and Betfred, covering everything from affiliate management to poker agent and marketing responsibilities. He also worked on the affiliate side of the business at Chilipoker and InterPartners in Malta, giving him a perspective on how both operators and affiliates approach player acquisition and retention.
This operator-side background is what makes Chris’s poker writing credible. When he writes about a poker room’s software, bonus structure, or player experience, he draws on years of first-hand knowledge from inside the companies that build these products.
Chris is also a poker player, having caught the bug watching the original Late Night Poker series on Channel 4 in the UK. He has played at several EPTs and live events across Spain, and has a particular interest in the history of poker and legends like Doyle Brunson and Bobby Baldwin.
His published work on VIP-Grinders remains part of our editorial archive and is reviewed and maintained by the active editorial team.
