Frankie C Challenges Martin Kabrhel to Heads-Up Match

Frank "Frankie C" Cucchiara has brazenly challenged high-stakes poker star Martin Kabrhel to a heads-up match, apparently agreeing to play for $1,000,000, if he can get the money.

Frankie C Challenges Martin Kabrhel to Heads-Up Match

The Czech player is one of those names who consistently finds his way into the poker media for various reasons, often being a bit of a nuisance, but there’s no denying he’s a great poker player.

Having Martin Kabrhel’s scalp on his record would make Frankie C a player of note, without a doubt.

Who Is Frankie C?

The 26-year-old poker content creator is a relatively new face on the scene and known for being the partner of Kitty Kuo. But even given his youth, Cucchiara looks to be working his way up in the game and is becoming a force to be reckoned with.

Almost three years ago, we saw his poker vlogging career begin with the then 23-year-old $2/$5 cash game player heading to a $25/$50 game that would be live-streamed during the WPT World Championship.

For a young guy to take a leap of faith and jump into a game ten times bigger than he was used to shows nerve, especially since the decision was based on nothing more than a feeling that he was meant to accept the invitation.

As it turned out, that would be where he first met Kitty Kuo and went on a date after losing a hand to her, and the rest is history.

So, is this a guy who should be tangling with Martin Kabrhel? We can’t know for sure but it’s a stretch. There are some players who regularly appear in high-stakes tournaments and there are the other regs who have a constant stream of success — Martin Kabrhel is one of the latter kind.

In Cucchiara’s vlog we see him approach Kabrhel at the World Series of Poker as he’s finishing up on a neighbouring table.

Cucchiara introduces himself as a fan of Kabrhel as an amateur who is interested in playing him heads-up.

Kabrhel sees the camera, immediately becoming curious about who the kid is. Cucchiara continues by saying he doesn’t have a big bankroll like the Czech star but is still interested in setting up a match.

Of course, Kabrhel quickly sniffs out an opportunity here and asks his young challenger if he has at least $2 million to play with.

Cucchiara clearly wasn’t expecting that offer and counters with one of a game of $25/$50. Kabrhel said the stakes are no good for the $2 million stacks he is still insisting on and that he should go away and get staked by his friends.

But Cucchiara posted the video last night, clearly trying to drum up some interest.

He also posted a clip on his Instagram account, writing:

“Anyone got a million they can loan me? Maybe we can team up here. $10 from every follower? It would actually be sick if I had the money to take on these guys. Would I have a shot against @martinkabrhel“

Some readers might think this is a bit of a stunt for views on his YouTube channel but don’t automatically assume this can’t happen.

Cucchiara has played heads-up against Doug Polk at The Lodge Card Club and didn’t disgrace himself. He has also been active against other players in the format during 2025.

We’ll see, but with Martin Kabrhel being one of the names of the moment, some people might just fancy ponying up some of the cash to make this happen.
