Rewarding Integrity in Poker (RIP) incentivises WPT Global players to report what they think are instances of cheating or integrity breaches on the platform.

Since its launch, WPT Global has paid out a handsome six figures worth of dollars in rewards to several hundred players whose reports led to confirmed actions and case resolutions.

Players simply report what they see and if the security team confirms that unethical play has transpired then a payment will be made.

The program targets what are hands down the biggest threats to fair online poker, the most serious being automated play from a bot. Most of these bots are terrible at poker but those that encompass GTO assistance are a scourge on the game.

Real-time assistance (RTA) from third-party tools is another threat to game integrity that is often spoken about in the modern game.

Collusion between two or more players is mostly seen in live games but always keep an eye out for groups that are potentially ganging up on you online. This is a serious breach of fair play rules and should always be reported.

How RIP Works

The Rewarding Integrity in Poker program has players submitting detailed reports with clear, concrete evidence to gameintegrity@wptglobal.com. Anonymous tips are accepted, but ID and contact details are required to claim cash rewards.

Reports go through screening, investigation, and verification. If the tip contributes to confirming a fair play violation then action will be taken, usually meaning fund confiscations and a ban and then a reward will be issued. Malicious or baseless reports are ignored. Reward size and conditions are determined case by case.

WPT Global has always been clear when it says it emphasizes a zero-tolerance stance on third-party software, data mining, collusion, and cheating, and the RIP program confirms that.

RIP Delivers Over $100K to Players Busting Cheaters

A recent WPT Global blog post spotlighted the program’s ongoing success, noting payouts tied to hundreds of resolved cases. This includes dozens of account bans and over $166,000 worth of account funds confiscated and redistributed from January through May 2025 alone for cheating violations.

The initiative aims to address persistent industry pain points where unethical players exploit online anonymity. By rewarding honest players for weeding out issues early, WPT Global aims to make it tougher for cheaters while fostering trust and fairer games overall.

Report Shady Behaviour and Claim Rewards

If you’re grinding on WPT Global and spot suspicious behaviour, reporting it isn’t just community service, it can pay off substantially if the security team agrees with you and helps to keep your game of choice cheater-free.

You could even think of it as just another kind of rakeback.

The final word goes to WPT Global and its long-term view of online poker:

“RIP is built to strengthen trust in online poker over the long term. The goal is a healthier ecosystem where fair play is protected through consistent detection, serious investigation, and real incentives for players who help keep the games clean.”
