Calvin “cal42688” Anderson is for many the best all-round poker player in the world, having won a record ten events in numerous different games at the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP).

Now Anderson proved that he is also a force to be reckoned with when it comes to live poker, by coming out on top at an extremely strong final table, where he beat the likes of the leader in the WSOP Player of the Year Race John Hennigan, Mike “goleafsgoeh” Leah, Frank Kassela or Dzmitry Urbanovich.

It was his second bracelet and the victory was lightened up with a whopping first prize of $309,220.

Jean-Robert Bellande finally joins the bracelet club by winning the $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed

Jean-Robert Bellande was one of the few big names, who hasn’t won a bracelet, finishing in second place twice before.

Now he finally got that monkey off his back by winning the prestigous $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed.

Bellande started the final table as chipleader and never looked back. Heads-Up he defeated Dean Lyall from the UK to win his first bracelet together with a staggering $616,302.

Record Field on Day 1c propelled 2018 WSOP Main Event to the second biggest of all time!

Yesterday’s Day 1c of the 2018 WSOP Main Event was the biggest starting day ever in Main Event history!

Incredible 4,571 players boosted the total entries to 7,874, making it the second biggest Main Event ever after 2006. This is a huge success for live poker and the WSOP in general!

There are an incredible $74.015.600 in the prize and the winner will take home a staggering $8.800.000! Chipleader after the three starting days is Frenchman Samuel Touil with 352,800 chips, followed by two US players Timothy Lau (338,700) and Truyen Nguyen (338,700).

Top pros with a big stack are: Alex Foxen (242,300), Jake Schindler (157,900) Patrik Antonius (208,700), Loni Harwood (194,200), Jake Schindler (157,900) and Chino Rheem (149,500).
